The job went off with no issues and Nathan took the time to go through and make sure everything was completely correct. When the city inspector came out to sign off on the permit, I told him who installed it and he said he has never had any issues with Nathan's work and signed it off with no further review. Today, Nathan came back out and installed a ceiling fan in my living room. I have installed fans before, but have a vaulted ceiling and felt it needed a professional rather than a DYI installation. Once again, Nathan impressed me with his professionalism and attention to detail. I recently purchased an electric vehicle (EV) and was looking to get a home charger installed. Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

My toilet installation was a little more complicated because they also needed to do some electrical work to install my Toto toilet. Unfortunately, during the process of running the wire they accidentally busted a 4 inch hole in my wall. They agreed to come back and repair the damage. Unfortunately, the paint I had on hand didn't match so there's a very obvious paint spot. Happy that they were upfront with their mistake and tried to rectify it though. The bidet attachment install went very smooth. It did have a minor leak which they quickly came back and repaired at no cost. Really love the new toilets I have in my house now and everything is working perfectly.

Garry Hutcherson was recommended to me by a friend when I recently needed some electrical repairs…read moreand changes. He consolidated the meter boxes and outside panels of our older home (ca 1950), setup a separate circuit for our large refrig/freezer, replaced several faulty outlets, and replaced an ancient attic venting fan that last worked sometime in the Johnson administration. All the works was done on time, and as promised , at a cost that was 60% less than other quotes. All this despite the fact that things are seldom what they seem in older homes, and adjustments and changes were require more than once. All is working well, and obviously we are pleased. Much of the work was done or surpervised by Garry's daughter, also a licensed electrician. She was very helpful with recommendations and suggestions. These folks do good work, at very reasonable prices. And not all jobs have to be big jobs. May want to give them a try if the need arises.
