I've been to Solvang many times since I grew up in Southern California and this was by far my favorite place I stayed. The buildings are just three stories and unlike some other worldmark resorts it didn't feel very crowded. We got a two bedroom condo and it was spacious, the kitchen and dining space was very comfortable. There was an outdoor balcony and we enjoyed spending time out there as it overlook the swimming pool. Though we were by the swimming pool it wasn't super loud.. And we were there Fourth of July weekend so there were a good number of people in the pool.Bed was comfy. Room was very clean. They have their own private parking lot, which is nice and it's just outside the main area of Solvang so it's a bit quieter. The staff were also amazing and friendly. There was an owner's lounge which had a pool table, ping-pong, foosball, etc. to keep your kids and adults busy. The pool is small, but good enough since the resort isn't huge. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you're part of a family or have kids.

We stayed in a lovely 3 bedroom suite, with a full kitchen, fireplace, outdoor patio with a gas grill. #3202 has beautiful views from the patio balcony. Only drawback is that the suite is located on the second floor with access via stairs only. Ample parking. Definitely will come back if invited again. Check in process can be challenging. They text me the same day of check in to ask me for my email and a credit card. I was not comfortable replying as I thought it might be spam. I waited until I arrived. I had to call a number, and provide my credit card for incidentals over the phone. I was hoping they would have a check in machine similar to vegas hotels since no live staff. It was pretty loud to hear as another group was trying to check in too. I am giving a 3 due to service. The balcony door's lock was not working. I text them when we checked in to report issue with no response. The hotel room was beautiful and pleasant. I loved the nespresso coffee, the lounge area. They also had a reading lounge. Everything was artistic with great color, very new and clean. Another issue I had was that I booked through a 3rd party and prepaid room when over night I received an extra charge notification. When I called in the morning around 6:30 am I was advised no manger was available until 7 am and someone would call me then. I waited until 7:30 am as no one called me I called again. I was advised they were having systems issues with their app. Since it was a 3rd party the app was charging me the 3rd party charge. Which was $50 less what I paid to the 3rd party. I advised them I had already prepaid. They advised me they would release hold in 2-3 days. I called the 3rd party to advise the above. They called Winston staff as they shortly after sent me a text. I do believe Winston was in error to charge me while I had already paid the 3rd party. The funds were released the next day. Keep an eye on credit card notifications if stay here. Other than the above issue and Check in service I would stay here again. The room was comfortable with the exception of the balcony door not locking.

December 2024 we asked for a lease extension which we do yearly. Typically, we hear back within a few weeks. We never heard anything and had to keep asking...Toby Soto and Susy Parrot were nothing but non-communicative. When they did communicate we were harassed...daily. I have the text messages to confirm. I had to block their text line. We moved out in March of 2025. They've since tried listing the property that has termites that have not been treated, has carpenter bees, the back fence is falling down and there are rats everywhere because of the ivy growing between properties at 1690 juniper in Solvang for $4200 over $1200 more than we were paying. There are birds that live inside the attic and the plumbing all backs up monthly. The property isn't renting...as it's in awful shape. It has brick floors which tore all of our feet up over the 5 years we lived there...a small kitchen, the bathtub & "master shower" which is the size of a beach shower both back up monthly and many other problems. They tried to say we stole the washer and dryer in the unit which we replaced and were told we could replace because they don't keep accurate records. They tried to send us notices to clean the carpets professionally before moving out. There are NO carpets in this home. Brick and old outdated wood. Again they don't keep accurate records. They didn't even have our move in inspection on file. Surprise!! I have it still. Thank god! The fridge/fridge sucks and needs to be replaced as well as the dishwasher and stove/oven. There is no microwave in the unit, don't know why they're listing it with one . The garage door also needs to be replaced. There is a leak somewhere in the walls between the master and hall bath and it creates a leak in the floor boards which we were cited for even with a request to fix and photos back from 2020. Tried saying it was from going in and out of the shower/bath when we not once in 5 years used the master shower and the damaged was on the other side of the toilet and an unfinished maintenance request from 2020. They've since lowered the price to $3900. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY FROM THEM or any property from plus property. They are not honest people nor do they care about anything but money. We're working with a lawyer and have also reported them to the BBB! Hopefully saving others from this disaster.
