She was not under anesthesia, and the whole procedure took about 10 minutes. There was no medical reason for me to not be allowed in the room. Arguably, this procedure was much less intensive than filling a cavity. There was no wiggle room for discussion and the dentist, Goldenberg gave a harsh answer. I explained that my daughter is a minor and was very nervous about having teeth pulled. I was escorted to the waiting room, as my daughter was crying. Absolutely unacceptable! If you are a parent who likes to be involved in your child's care... I would avoid this practice like the plague!

The front desk staff was not easy to work with and said opposing things about the REQUIRED $250.00 deposit that you WILL FORFEIT if you have to reschedule your appointment. First they said they were cancelling my appointment because they had not received a deposit even though they did not tell me I had to place a deposit for a last minute procedure. When I asked for clarification about why they thought it was ok to charge such a large amount for a missed appointment she said "we are reasonable and if there is an emergency we won't charge the missed apointment fee". So which is it? If I have to reschedule or miss the appointment, are you compensating yourself with my $250.00 deposit or can I reschedule? Not a great front end practice so and I chose to go to a better and more caring provider based on the public reviews. Healthcare providers have gotten so greedy!!!!

I saw multiple dentists who told me my only option was veneers and often made me feel ashamed for being so young with teeth in such poor condition. It led me to feeling even more discouraged and it actually made my brushing habits worse because I felt embarrassed and hopeless about improving my teeth. But when I started seeing Dr. Horn, I never once felt that way. From the beginning, she made me feel supported and understood. She's been willing to work with me every step of the way and thoughtfully curated a treatment plan, that didn't include veneers! During my initial consult, we reviewed the photos they took of my teeth, and she had me point out which specific teeth I wanted her to focus on. She made it clear that I didn't have to commit to anything beyond what I was comfortable with, whether that was personally or financially, and that the plan could be tailored to my priorities. For my actual appointment, they offered me luxurious amenities from an entire menu! l got the heated neck pillow and headphones with cable TV, and they even surprised me with a smoothie afterwards! Dr. Horn also made sure to prep my lips with lip balm before starting anything, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience feel comfortable and genuinely caring. The results from my first appointment have been incredible and far exceeded any expectations I had. I remember saying during my initial consult that I just hoped to lessen some of the staining as much as possible, but it truly feels like it's almost entirely gone. I feel so happy and giddy when I look in the mirror now. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Horn and her team enough.
