Apt, yikes! Parking, yay! Tour, weird…read more Where to start... setting up a tour. It's with a hired person off site who gives you a code to enter the door. She was amazing! Too bad she's not full time with this complex, she's with 18 complexes so she ONLY sells you on the place and she almost had us sold even with how yikes some of the stuff was. She was THAT good! So nice! And follows up. She is a huge asset!!! Parking. Right in front of your door. Yes! Garage, close. Super close. That had us really wanting the place. Pool and gym close to that unit but pool was drained and is never heated. Can't tour either. No access until you pay rent. Well that stinks. Road was super loud. Windows single pane, so not energy efficient and no sound barrier. View not great, but not horrible. Night time with road lights shining in wouldn't be fun though. Door has window next to it that isn't even fully sealed. That's not comforting. Bedrooms were biggest we'd seen. Nice. But apt was so stinky with smoke. All windows were open and balcony too. I see why. It stunk so bad I had to shower at home to get the smell off me. They said it was move in ready. There was hair trimmings in the master bath drawer. So gross. And pee stains in front of toilet. And guest bath had actual pee still in floor in front of toilet. Dried but obviously still there. Some cabinets had food stains and pieces and oven was nasty with grease spills. How is this move in ready? Even a deep clean wouldn't help the bumps under the carpet throughout the whole apartment. The only consistency is there's no flooring consistency. Whole place was uneven. Carpet needs tossed and flooring needs replaced cause something is going on underneath. And Why? Why why why paint the counters in kitchen and bathroom, it looks really really really bad. Black paint with white spots all over... painted. Who does that?? Why? I understand the other reviews now. Yikes! A/c makes a rattle noise that is never get use to and apt next to it upstairs and down are both under construction. This one should be too. Trust. Lady was so nice. No clue how actual office ppl are because there's no way to meet them until you move in. Place is on super uneven ground. So lots of up and down and inclined and that means structures will shift more over time thus more likely will be under construction sooner or later.

The other residents are respectful and friendly from my encounters. There's a lot of kids that live here that like to run around on scooters and e-bikes on the weekends-they can be a little noisy but it doesn't bother me. The property manager, Gigi, has been so helpful and kind with any questions I've asked. Lots of open parking and no sketchy weirdos loitering around. I have never seen the dumpsters overflowing- the trash is collected multiple times a week. I do find a spider in the unit every so often but it's definitely not a pest problem. Never had a package stolen so far! I'm really enjoying this place!

Don't let the appearance of this complex fool you. At first glance, it looks like a quiet and safe…read moreneighborhood, but that has not been my experience at all. During the 10 months I lived here, I had my gas siphoned, a SWAT team break down a neighbor's door during a hostage situation, and another neighboring unit where a drug-addicted couple had frequent violent altercations. The situation became so bad that I had to call the police over a dozen times during my short time living there. The most frustrating part is that management has received complaints about these issues for years. They will tell you they care and that they are addressing the situation, but nothing actually changes. The responses often feel dismissive and unhelpful. What ultimately pushed me to write this review, however, was how my move-out was handled. Although I moved out before my lease ended, I made every effort to leave the apartment in excellent condition. I had the unit professionally cleaned, including the carpets, and had all holes patched and painted. After the pre-move-out inspection, I even provided management with the invoices for these services. Despite this, I was still charged nearly $500 in additional cleaning and painting fees. I was also charged an incorrect $450 rent balance, even though management had previously confirmed that I had paid the remaining rent and utilities owed. Even after explaining this and providing documentation, they still refused to return my full security deposit. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. For the price you pay to live here, there are far better and better-managed options in the area. I strongly encourage prospective renters to carefully consider other properties before signing a lease here.

The grounds are kept so nice and it was always very quiet. We ended up deciding to move only because we wanted to find something bigger and opted for a place with less carpet. Even though we had to break our lease the process went SO smoothly, they did a great job of getting maintenance in there quick and getting new tenants in so we didn't have to pay a crazy amount of extra rent. We also couldn't believe that even though we honestly left the apartment without thoroughly cleaning it and all the carpet needed to be replaced, they still managed to get us a part of our deposit back! I was in shock when we got anything back because I honestly did not expect anything back (we've been scarred by shady property management in the past). The only downfall I can think of is that there isn't a ton of parking, so my husband had to park on the street every day... luckily it's perfectly far enough from the beach that parking isn't usually too bad, and the neighborhood is very safe so we never had to worry about his car being out there. We definitely loved our time here and still recommend it to many of our friends!

One of the main reasons why I chose to take on a year with CV was just how lush and green the property was - you can't throw a stone in this complex (don't do that) without hitting a bird of paradise or a gorgeous palm tree. I think almost every apartment has a lovely view of the pool. The manager Carla was on point. Never had a leak or issue with the apartment that wasn't addressed and solved within 24 hrs. Overall I really liked staying here and if you're looking for a new home, this was a great find. It's oddly quiet and literally walking distance from at least 3 grocery stores. The one drawback is that parking is LIMITED. Past 5pm it's quite difficult to find a spot. The community has gated parking so you'll be guaranteed a spot, but if you've got 2 cars, it can get kinda dicey. So be wary of that.

She is truly one of the main reasons why I have lived here for so long. Maintenance team is also top tier. David is amazing at servicing any issues or repairs. He truly works hard and provides the best customer service. My stove recently needed to be replaced and the process was seamless! Within a few days I had a brand new and beautiful replacement. Parking is great, the laundry room is always maintained and clean! The landscaping is unlike any other! It feels like a tropical getaway. Inside the apartments there's spacious storage and lots of natural light. I love living here because of the affordable rent prices and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon!

I don't have problems when it comes to paper work- she is extremely organized and gives plenty of notice when something is going or will or needs to happen. She is always available: and if you she's she will get back to you promptly. You can tell she truly cares about the people living here and the property. The Maintenance: Nicholas is always very helpful and informative. Very kind! He works hard and it shows! I'm happy he is here. He has helped us with so many weird things. Even times when my son put his toys down the toilet. But not just that he to also truly cares about everyone's safety. The apartments themselves: are nice and clean. If there is a problem both Tasha and Nicholas work quickly to help and take care of things. I'm glad I can call this a home for my children and I.

We decided to drop by and immediately felt safe when we saw another young couple moving in, and a couple of children playing in the lawn areas of the complex. The assistant manager at the time was very friendly and showed us the apartment that was ready to move into, ready as is. New crown moulding, and cleaned carpet. We fell in love and got everything ready with the application and fees the next day. Moving day came in January, and the winter was pretty chilly for me since it was a single-pane window at the time (my boyfriend slept like a baby though. He likes the cold lol). 6 months later, and I'm still in love with this place. It's getting hotter, but shading the patio and managing air flow is helping since summer is coming and we don't have AC. I see other apartment have AC units in the window, so it's definitely an option if someone needs the temperature regulation. Management is always on top of notifying residents on changes via email and sometimes paper notices, in case there's issues that need immediate attention, like the recent double-pane window installations. Laundry room was recently upgraded to industry-power MAYTAG machines, and residents have been fairly good about keeping their distances due to Covid-19. Maintenance teams are always seen, always friendly. There's weekly, if not monthly, landscaping and/or maintenance to the amenities to keep the place looking fresh. Every apartment comes with 2 parking permits to park in the immediate parking area surrounding the apartments (no extra fee for the covered parking first come first serve), and then there's additional visitor parking marked on the east side and on the road. If you're looking for a completely quiet neighborhood, this ain't it. There's families everywhere with children playing every weekend, along with families and people in general holding family/friend gatherings, BBQs, parties, etc. at least once a month. Nothing unreasonable, but definitely not COMPLETE silence if someone is looking for that in a complex. There is loud revving sometimes in the wee hours of the night, most likely from racers on Oceanside Blvd, but doesn't really bother me since I'm usually asleep at that time. Only hear it when I'm up getting water or taking a whizz. Fireworks will also go off sometimes in the complex next door lol! It's pretty lively here, all things considered. A safe, family friendly neighborhood! The ducks and ducklings in the creek, ambient birds in the morning, the bridge strolls to my car, are the absolute sprinkles on top of everything. This place really set a standard for other apartment complexes in the area. Worth every penny for location, management, and ambience. :)

The grounds are well kept, and it could truly be a wonderful living experience. Unfortunately, the management office (Monica) significantly detracts from that experience. Monica present with a significant lack of customer service skills. She is inconsistent with whom she enforces the terms of the leasing contract and she herself does not abide by them. Interactions with office staff have often felt rude, dismissive, petty, and unnecessarily condescending. Rather than feeling supported as a resident, I've frequently felt talked down to and ignored when trying to address concerns professionally. The most frustrating part is the apparent lack of any clear avenue for resolution or accountability beyond the onsite office. Attempts to escalate concerns or request assistance through a higher level of management have not been productive. It's disappointing because the property itself deserves much better management and resident relations than what is currently being provided.
