This luxury townhouse community has all the modern amenities one could want in a home i.e., high ceilings, granite countertops, glass backsplash, ample storage, a garage, in-unit full size washer and dryers - I could go on and on as the list is endless. Add to that the positivity and helpfulness of both the Community Manager, Lance Gonzales and Service Supervisor, Bryant far exceeds most in their positions. Lance Gonzales always keeps residents apprised of property related activities i.e., power washing, fire safety inspections, window awning replacement etc., and he is active in arranging resident interaction activities i.e., barbecues. The property is superbly maintained and Bryant provides quick and immediate assistance with repairs and service requests should the need arise. I would not hesitate recommending to anyone Costa Pointe as a wonderful place to live. Not only for its convenient location and the fact that it is a well maintained and safe property but also to let them know that they can count on the Community Manager, Lance Gonzales and Service Supervisor, Bryant to be there for them if need be.

We've been viewing apartments each day for a week and Evelyn has been by far the most personable…read moreand helpful. It's the first place we could really see ourselves choosing and a big part of that is how she made us truly feel at home. I have a list of questions ready and she patiently and thoroughly answered each one. The only issue we found had nothing to do with her but that the property isnt smoke free. If it were smoke free we'd applied immediately because having touring with her I was ready to make this our home for years and years to come. We at least narrowed down our search a lot. This is a top contender. Even with it being a bit far from work, we still hope to call this place home. We only have a couple more places to look, but I'm not sure how they can beat Evelyn's presentation of this property and apartment. Plus they have community events throughout the year! How fun! Optional of course, but I think our kiddos would really enjoy most of them and love living here. Thank you Evelyn, if you see this know that you are a great asset to this complex. I hope to soon call this place home, but cannot yet say for sure til we check off the other places you have on our list. I still wanted to go ahead and give a review because after so much searching, this has been the best tour!

I have been a resident here for over seven years, and the quality of service provided to residents…read morehas consistently been excellent. In particular, Gerardo--who has been working here since before we moved in--has always demonstrated a high level of professionalism, dedication, and willingness to assist whenever needed. Additionally, Evelynn is always prompt in arranging and ordering any items we require. Bruno M and Angus are also highly dependable, hardworking, and committed to their responsibilities. Together, they consistently create a welcoming, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents My husband and i are very happy! feeling safe comfortable in this community, and we sincerely appreciate the individuals mentioned above for all of this. In addition, there is a truly difficult issue that has remained unresolved for many years, and this issue stems from some of the residents living in this building. There is one very unpleasant and unhygienic issue here. Some residents do not clean up after their dogs, especially in the dog park, which is heavily littered with dog waste. Every time we bring our dog here, we have to clean up at least 7-10 piles of feces to prevent our dog from stepping in it and bringing it home, even though I always clean their paws after going outside. This situation has made me no longer want to visit the dog park, as it is dirty and foul-smelling, and most importantly, I constantly have to clean up after others. This dog park is no longer a place for dogs to run and play, but has instead become a dumping ground for dog waste. I hope the building owner can take steps to ensure that residents take responsibility for cleaning up after their dogs, so the dog park can remain clean and enjoyable. This park was an important reason why we decided to move here eight years ago. However, since moving in, I have often found myself cleaning up dog waste left by other people, both on the lawn in front of our home and in the dog park. This is the only issue that makes me uncomfortable. Aside from this issue, everything else has been wonderful! the area is always kept very clean thanks to the regular cleaning and maintenance. Ivy

Positives - leasing office ladies were very nice and I though the maintenance team were excellent…read more The complex is well kept and superficially the townhouse we had was good. But... Negatives: The townhouse had noise from the El Camino Real road louder than I would have imagined. It was very hot in summer. Several degrees hotter than the outside temp. Part of the issue was that the oven leaked heat. The dishwaster leaked and cause water damage. I was told they were prone to do this. This cost me circa $1k in move out costs (after renters insurance reimbursement) while they repaired the damage. Apparently the water damage was my fault for not noticing it sooner. The washing machine never worked properly but we didnt complain. More fool me. Close to my townhouse there was a car parked with pro palestinian statements in its windows ("Israel is a terrorist state" etc and anti-american statements). FYI 1st amendment is not relevant to a complex like Ascend. I had to see that every day for the 15 months i was there. When a resident was murdered in a car jacking in the parking lot in August, the office sent a note saying that residents might have noticed a commotion the previous night but that the incident had been sorted. The complex is owned by Greystar - beware !!

Just this morning, as I was leaving for work around 7:45 AM, I saw Shai near the complex exit with a small foldable table and brown paper bags neatly arranged on top. She waved me down, I rolled down my window, and she handed me a bag with the biggest smile and said, "Here, breakfast!" When I asked why, she simply replied, "Just because." That moment captures who she is--kind, thoughtful, and always going the extra mile. Shai is the reason I can proudly say I love where I live. She's a gem, and so appreciated.

Cesar was great, professional and knowledgeable…read more Heads up: Gate stays open all day but late at night it closes. Night traffic is insanely loud. Drag racing all hours but all night long it's the loudest. Apt complex is small but lots of up and down hills, so plan to drive your laundry to the building. Also online says 24-7, that's not true, it's 9-10 or possibly 8-10 only. Most walk ways and roads are sloped and not even so caution if you are walking the complex. Only one tiny park and past age 5 I'm pretty sure kids wouldn't enjoy it. But toddlers might enjoy it. It's super tricky to leave because of traffic and going south you'll need to go north and do a u turn. Getting past these things it seems a decent place to rent. Cesar left us with a good impression, polite, showed us around. I was looking for ground level apt, laundry in apt or near apt, and a pool and this place had one apt like that available. (None have washer dryer hookups but laundry was near this apt that was available). So we applied. $150 to apply. Non refundable. Thankfully we were first in line for this apt. Be prepared for it to take minimum of two weeks to go through the process. We passed all the requirements and he appreciated we have 750+ and 783, etc. You only need a 620 to be approved. We have perfect rental history. Never late on any payments ever. We met the income requirement. We were approved but it must then go through corporate. So we waited longer. Then we are told we weren't approved because corporate doesn't think we are a good match for their community. We've never heard of anything like this. We asked for further clarification and we were told the same statement. We were told to call a number to talk with corporate. We called and it goes straight to a recording and it's an odd echo bathroom sounding recording that did not sound professional at all, but it was corporate. We left our info and no call back. To date no response and no one will answer. It's out of Cesar's hands. He was confident we'd be moving in. We are more than qualified. I've been told places do this to pocket all the applications. We were first in line and met all the criteria. I thought that was a good thing to be first in line. Another family was in line for the apt, so if this is the case that's sadly common in California, then they got to pocket our $150 and move on to them. Some places have 40 applicants and first 30 get denied, they pocket all those fees paid and accept the others. It's sad that this is happening. And reality is, we qualified, was told we qualify and was still rejected and our $150 was pocketed by the apt complex and they moved on to the next family. On the bright side, Now that we've heard stories of the traffic and loud racing every single night there (go at night and witness it. It's so loud and trucks and cars race all night to the early am hours) and not having heat in bathrooms etc. Only having it in bedroom. And the other hiccups, stinks to of lost $150 to corporate greed but glad to have avoided these other things.
