My mother, originally from Panama City, FL, moved to St Louis with my sister, my brother-in-law, nieces, and nephews after her home was severely damaged during Hurricane Michael. Within weeks of the storm my mom showed major symptoms of PTSD, followed by a stroke, and then dementia. My sister's 3 story house became not safe for my mom. She needed 24/7 care. My sister and brother-in-law found Refections at Garden Place. We are all very pleased with the care my mom receives there. They are clean, caring, provide daily activities, and kind to their clients. I highly recommend Refections for anyone that has a family member with needs that can be met at Reflections. I would avoid this place like the plague! I went for a tour. I got there 10 minutes early. No one…read morewas at the front desk. There were 3 staff members in the dining area talking loud enough that I could hear, but around the corner where I couldn't see them and vice versa. They talked the whole 20 minutes (no one ever came up to the front) I sat there, discussing the residents. When they started talking about how gross this one woman was I got up and left. I called and asked for the Director or whomever gave tours - the woman said oh that's me - I could tell from her voice it was one of the women talking in the dining area. I told her what I had heard and that I had sat there for 20 minutes. She said "well I'm sorry we wouldn't be a good fit for your mother, have a nice day" and hung up on me.
