BEST tree service EVER! Don't bother checking for any other company. Mr. Hickey personally checks…read moreout and gives estimates for your unique situation. I have used Hickey Tree Service & Firewood because his estimates have always been the most fair & the work is always excellent. He & his experienced crew take great care to protect and clean up your home and yard. Hickey Tree Service takes great pride in their work & reputation. I had a horrendous fallen tree situation after this recent storm that was VERY dangerous and tricky bring down in my cramped yard full of other trees. Mr. Hickey and his crew CAREFULLY assessed every potential hazard to neighbors' property, my swing set, and my home and brought that 5 story tree down in the perfect spot touching nothing! I must mention they did most of the job in the rain as the next storm was coming in. Hickey wanted to be sure they got down before the storm surely brought it down on my neighbor's house. I will continue to use Hickey for all tree trimming & to rid my yard of all dangerous trees as soon as I can. I HIGHLY recommend you use Hickey Tree Service too!

I just had my first experience with Hickey's Tree Service today. I had a huge tree that came down,…read moreknocked down my fence, and extended most of its length into a neighbor's backyard. I called Hickey's Tree Service on the recommendation of a friend, and in less than an hour, Gene Hickey was here. He checked out the job and gave us a quote which we accepted. Today, he and one of his crew came to remove the tree from the neighbors yard. They did it within 30 minutes. And it was a very large pine tree. Then there was another small tree that had fallen on the fence as well, and they removed it without me even knowing it. Then, when I went out to give him his check, he said that he and his guy were concerned about a dead cherry tree close to my fence which would threaten my daughter's car if it fell down. We had discussed that the day before, but we weren't ready to afford to have that tree taken down as well. Gene said that the job went so well, that he would take that tree down for free. Who in the world does anything for free these days? Talk about Honorable! Talk about someone I would totally trust! Hickey's Tree Service has my business for as long as I have trees, and I have probably 25 or more on my own property, plus all my neighbors are very timber-wealthy as well. I will be recommending him to all of my neighbors and friends, but I wanted to recommend him to the general public also. Gene Hickey is a good guy, One you can trust with your business!

I'm getting pretty pissed at this point, but I hold my temper and immediately text back, "When can you come?" Never heard back. I gave 2 stars because they were polite about jerking me around and wasting my time. Update: I reduced my review rating to 1 star, because they never responded to my asking when will they actually show up. It has been almost 2 weeks since I first contacted them.
