I was told by one young lady on the phone my Jeep was basically back together and they needed about a week to get it aligned and wrapped up. I called today and was told it could be another few weeks until it's done. The issue is it's been over 2 month long ( which I was told 1 month is all it would take), and it sounds like it will be closer to 2.5-3 months before it's completed. I don't know what the hold up is really if it's them or my insurance company but either way I am abit salty now since I have been paying for a vehicle I can't drive. **+*I will update this to let you all know what goes down and my final opinion on things. I called Wed. the 14th to check on it and was told it will be ready on the 16th!!!!!! by the male employee in the office. (that is not the description I wanted to use). I walk in at 4:30 to pick up my vehicle and the female employee says, "oh it's not ready" and I said, "what?" Now they say it won't be ready until the 21st. Well I have already returned my rental so I want MY vehicle. He tells me I can't have it. THEY DO NOT CARE IF THEY INCONVIENCE THEIR CUSTOMERS, (because of their negligence, slow pace, incompetent work, lack of communication, and basic poor attitude). THEY DO NOT KEEP YOU INFORMED OF PROGRESS. (even though I was receiving texts saying it still should be finished on time) The woman said those texts were not from the body shop, even though they said Richie's Body Shop. THIS PLACE HAS BECOME A CESSPOOL. INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES ALL AROUND! The last time they fixed my vehicle the tech kept putting the motion sensors in backwards and couldn't figure out why they were not working correctly. We have used this place for years, but now NOT EVER AGAIN! Clients BEWARE!

Had a great service experience today with Tindol Ford…read more Call to schedule was a breeze and the person I spoke with was very helpful to determine my needs and timing. Hota quote that was exactly in line with the final bill. Arrived right as they opened for service and was greeted immediately, confirmed what was to be done and was directed to the waiting area, where there is ample seating, free coffee or tea and vending machines. Service was completed in 35 minutes, no surprises or upsells, fast and courteous checkout and our car was well taken care of. Really pleased with our experience and treatment. Was worth going a little further out than the dealers closer to uptown who never got back to me,tried to put me through an automated maze of phone prompts and had horrible reviews to boot.

Don't go to Mr. Tire and Auto in Kings mountain…read more My experience at Mr. Tire and Auto in Kings Mountain was a complete nightmare. We had just installed a brand-new front end on the car, and my dad brought it in for a routine alignment. After their service, the front end was completely messed up -- worse than before -- and now it needs to be fully replaced again. That's hundreds of dollars lost. To make matters worse, they didn't tell me or my dad until after the work was done that their alignment machine was malfunctioning. That should've been disclosed before touching the car -- not after causing even more damage. When I tried to mediate the situation, David told me to take the car to the Shelby location for help. But when I arrived there, Shelby refused to work on it because Kings Mountain had already serviced it. So I had to drive all the way back just to try to get a refund. At that point, David wasn't in the office and couldn't do anything until the next day -- and no one else was able or willing to help. This shop has poor communication, damaged my parents' vehicle, gave me the runaround, and took no responsibility for what happened. I would never recommend Mr. Tire in Kings Mountain. If you care about your car and your peace of mind, go somewhere else.
