Local pizza pie shop proprietors are on the cusp of something great at Oak City Pizza. I'm delighted they've parked their pizza oven in Edmond Railyard...it's a great addition to the Railyard neighborhood! As they begin to get their footing parked in one place, there's a lot to love and so much to potentially look forward to... LOTS-o-LOVIN': Their PIZZA CRUST is chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. It's perfect and delicious! Their TINY PEPPERONI and MIKE's HOT HONEY are flavor-full deliciousness! The STAFF are awesome! They are all in for making your pizza dreams come true. With the staff behind this place, no telling what pizza pleasantries are to come. PERFECTION in PROGRESS: I wasn't in love with the sparseness of those delicious little pepperonis on my Angry Bee pizza. It reminds me of Neapolitan style pizza, but somehow that just wasn't what I was expecting. Had I been better informed, I would have ordered extra pepperoni on my Angry Bee pizza. I think some basil, even as an upgrade option, would be an excellent addition to this pie. I thought the Angry Bee was the upgraded pepperoni pizza, higher cost, more pepperoni, I thought....just not the case. I was just left wanting more. (I'd be happy to pay more to get more.) Same goes for my .50 cent side of house made ranch felt more like a .25 cent side of ranch. The crust was yummy dipped in it, but the container was only 1/2 full and it wasn't enough to get me through the crust on my pizza. The good news is, it's an easy fix. The more you know.... Their current beverage game is underwhelming. Single use plastic bottle options + no carbonated hoppy adult options at this time #newbiestruggles #wheresthedraftat. In the future, as they continue to grow, I'd love to see them partner with Stubborn Sodas and a local brewery or two for some better draft options (be sure to get the eco-friendly plastic cups, friends). --- All-in-all, there's a lot to look forward to in this little-pizza-place-that-could. All the bones are there. There's some getting started stuff to be sorted out, but no doubt the team behind this dream can get the job done. Cheers to you, Team Oak City Pizza. Keep up the great work! Can't wait 'til next time! December 2019

I love this place! Luckily I went between lunch and dinner so there wasn't anyone else there. I was able to nerd out about pizza with Calvin, the manager. He is awesome! Very knowledgeable about their oven and the details that make their pizza so great. I had the angry bee which is such a delicious combination of toppings. My pizza was cooked to perfection and I couldn't have been more pleased!

Came here to try there pizza and it was very good. The pizza had a sugar sweet flavor but was good. Will try more pizza in the future but empire Pizza it's right around the corner in walking distance. So with two pizza places next door to each other the one that has something new for me most likely will get more business.

10" margherita pizza, sparse toppings, but pretty good for what it is.

Pretty good craft pizza with quality toppings. Neapolitan in style, wood-fired which I usually love. But the amount of those black charcoal touches of smoky goodness are inconsistent here. You might get a pie with too much black, or almost none. Crust is very thin with good flavor, but a bit too chewy imo. Toppings are sparse. Their margherita had too many bites that were all tomato sauce. A very good tangy tomato sauce at that, but the mozzarella pieces were very small (and hard), and they opt for no tomato slices. I can eat a 10" all by myself, so they aren't all that filling. Overall it just could be better. Prices may seem a little high, but are average for the quality. Mondays are $5 for 10" margherita pizzas. I'm not sure why they don't expand that or do a similar deal for the entire pizza menu. Get the buzz out and people following you on social media. I do love the building, but I have yet to eat inside due to the pandemic. But not having a soda fountain is ridiculous. They did also screw up my order this past visit so I had to wait for them to cook me a new pie. They barely acknowledged my extra long wait. They surely have potential. But it's been a 3 star experience so far.

I love out of the ordinary pizza so when the time was right, I had to try this place! It was a easy pick for me and once I ordered, pizza came quickly after. It was quite delicious! Loved the crunchy crust from their oven and the 10" was a perfect size for a starving woman.

My veggie pizza with subs

As a vegan I wanted to like this restaurant, since they have vegan cheese, but it's too early. Three is average, not a bad thing but of course, everyone wants to be all 5's. I think they can eventually be all 5's, but they're not there yet. This restaurant is in the rail yard which is a new building with restaurants, ice cream, etc. The big garage door at the end was open and it was cold. There needs to be a They have some awesome toppings. And are fair and will let me sub ingredients. And overall it's good. But because I had Daiya cheese my crust was soggy. There needs to be a way around this (it could have been the pineapple too.) Whatever is causing this should be corrected. Another issue is they have a very limited selection of soda pop in single use plastics. I'll come back in 4-6 months and update this review.

Not much seating, but the food is amazing. Once the weather warms up the patio will be open! The pizza is great, especially the one with honey! Run don't walk to get yours. Kid friendly, fair pricing.

Pepperoni and Pineapple, don't knock it til you tried it.

Holy cow yes!!!! First time eating with this company and they didn't disappoint. Super friendly, quality food, and fast service. This place is going to be a great addition to Edmond.

This pesto pizza was the bomb! The crust was so soft, not chewy at all. I would eat here again for sure.

As a vegan, I am impressed with the quality and taste of the veggie pizza with the vegan mozzarella. The dough is just YUM!

I didn't get to taste the food because the service coming into the door was terrible. We were told…read morethat we would have a 40 min. wait for a large group. We were informed that the wait had expired on the toast tab. We came back into the restaurant and waited for an additional 30 minutes. We then asked the hostess if we could sit at some tables that were open but she told us that those tables had different servers. We then asked for a manager expecting him to help accommodate our large group but he instead became argumentative. A larger table had finally opened up and we waited for a few minutes longer to be seated. The hostess begrudgingly waived us to our table and proceeded to talk to each of the servers in the immediate area while pointing at our table. No servers came to our table and after a few minutes we had finally had enough and left. Before I left I tried to talk to the same manager but he disgracefully ducked behind his assistant manager. I tried to explain how unprofessional the hostess was but it appears that the behavior that she displayed was acceptable in their eyes. What is sad that the restaurant wasn't even completely full and there was no other groups waiting when we left. So in conclusion. The hostess was the opposite of hospitable. The manager is a weak leader and the I've had the food before.... It isn't worth that crappy service.

We grabbed a 20" pizza for take-out, and decided to do half MCA (mozzarella, marinated mozzarella,…read morericotta, shaved Parmesan), and half Pepperoni. Their NY-style pizza is so good, and the crust was my favorite part! Between the two of us, we finished this pizza over dinner and then lunch the next day!

I usually pick…read moreup our order, but opted for delivery this time due to work schedule and being busy in general. They used Doordash for delivery and we had a good delivery experience overall. I ordered a meal deal that was a big pizza, 3 appetizers and a big salad. The pizza was great with tons of toppings (Sooner) and we always love their salads. The jalapeno appetizer was well-received by most, I didn't find it that exciting, but it was still good. I liked the focaccia with meat balls, their marinara on the side was a little weak, but not bad, the cheese bread was fine too. I forgot they also put the cheese bread on the salad, so we ended up with quite a bit, but that's okay. One thing I'll mention from the 3 times I've ordered, I totally don't mind that the salad comes in a pizza box, but it does bug me that each time they've stacked the hot pizza and the salad together so by the time it got to us (since I didn't pick it up myself this time), the salad was also hot. Maybe they could get a sticker that says SALAD on it or something to help keep them separate so the pizza doesn't cook the salad in transit.

Loved the jalapeños but the other 2 items were just ok. So next time since almost $20 would just order one item. Lots of different special pizzas. We decided to try half Cowboy and half Maui. Both said BBQ base. The Maui tasted almost all ham. Would try a different one next visit. It always takes us a few tries to find the pizza we like the best. Service was quick . Seems alittle dark, woody older place, could use uplift. Especially restrooms. Lots of seating.
