Best pizza I've had in Italy, it's true, Napoli pizza is the best. It's a quick walk from the train station and not bad at all, we even did it with out carry on luggage which was a wheelie for me. The space is actually quite large and we were the only ones sitting inside and they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage behind our table. Go simple here, my husband got a fancier pizza with ham and mushrooms and his wasn't as good, the ham was fine but slightly too salty and the mushrooms seemed to come from a can. I got a buffalo mozzarella with tomato sauce and basil. You'll taste what real tomatoes and basil is supposed to taste like plus heavenly mozzarella. It's thin and slightly soupy so you'll need your utensils. It's reasonably priced for pizza and alc, and while the pizza is not small by any stretch of the imagination, don't share, get your own. Friendly service when we made the effort of butchered Italian. Would really recommend.

The area around the restaurant is pretty scary to say the least but I never felt unsafe making the trek here. The Food here is really good homemade Italian classics and extremely affordable prices. I easily paid double at other restaurants with subpar quality food. There is no service charge but there is a 1 euro each charge for cover/Coperto. Highly highly recommend if you're in the area !

A MUST. Best pizza of our whole trip (rome, amalfi coast and Naples). just divine! friendly service, too! They even have a take away station if you're in a rush! I got the scugnizzo pizza and my husband got the pizza fritto which was a fried calzone!! YUM!

Spent 2 weeks in Italy and this place was by far the best pizza I had, and not to mention, the most affordable. Would highly recommend.

Stopped in to grab a bite before heading to the airport. They have lots of tasty dishes although we just had pizza and it was delectable.

A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.

He even had some sample dry pastas with him to physically show me as a little demonstration, which I thought was really nice and appreciated very much. I ended up ordering the fresh scialatielli with ragu and ricotta (€13.50), which was simple yet tasty. The fresh pasta was cooked very well with a classic preparation. They also gave a generous amount of parmesan on the side. I also tried the fresh lemonade, which was very lemony and slightly fizzy for additional refreshment. The place is somewhat small inside but I was able to get a table without any wait. The kitchen is right next to the seating area, so it's kind of cool to see the cooks right there. Overall, Tandem is a great place for pasta dishes with very friendly service.

Every slice was flavorful, well balanced, and unmistakably Neapolitan, with each one bringing something a little different to the table. The fried pizza really stood out, light, crisp, and not greasy at all. This place captures everything I love about pizza in Naples: confidence, tradition, and execution without overthinking it. We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.
