Unfortunately, while the service is still great, the food is just not as good as it used to be. ATMOSPHERE/DECO Typical Alps/mountain décor, the restaurants decoration is very cool with ski, old farming equipment on the wall. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Lot of windows and light. SERVICE Very friendly and fast, our waitress was also funny and helpful. They have several wait staff speaking foreign languages as well. PRICE Price was good for the area. Dinner for 4 with drinks and wine was under $150. FOOD Sadly, it was not as good as it used to be. While my go to order, hanger steak with morel sauce was still excellent (and I highly recommend it), my dad and brother fondue was just not good at all. Not very cheesy and taste like cornstarch (or other thickener agent), the charcuterie plate for the fondue was ridiculously small with sub-par quality meats. Dessert was also not as good as in the past, the profiteroles puff pastry was likely frozen and harder than I like. The ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream on top were excellent. MISCELLEANOUS There is no parking close by so keep that in mind. They do have English speaking staff and I do believe I saw an English menu. They do have AC but it's not very strong (at least for Americans lol). Bathroom was clean. La note de Sebo Atmosphere/Deco 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 3.5/5 Price 4.5/5 Misc. 5/5 OVERALL 4/5

TL;DR: Loved raclette so much I came back twice in a week :)…read moreFair warning, this is a slightly biased review as this was my first taste of this new eating experience that is raclette Our table ordered the raclette (min 2 people) and each of our plates included charcuterie, some boiled/steamed potatoes (communal), and a green salad (communal) ...and of course...the raclette! The charcuterie meats were nice thin cuts with great flavor and the smokiness paired super well with the melty salty cheese along with the soft pillowy potatoes Scraping the heated melty cheese onto the plate and quickly enjoying the combination of flavors, temperatures, and textures was so exciting and fun! The wine (Crozes-Hermitage for local regional wine) was excellent, as well Santé, Dédé!

Thank you Yelp for helping my friends and I find out about Le Pichet!…read more Holy fondue! When we arrived in Annecy we were determined to find a fondue restaurant since that is what the region is notorious for. We were a party of five and we were quickly assisted when we arrived. There is indoor and outdoor seating available for you to choose, but we opted for a table inside just so we wouldn't have to wait. The patio was pretty busy when we arrived. The staff was super friendly and were happy to speak english with us. We did a total of three fondues for the five of us. We ordered two fondues of one type and then one of another, so they combined the two portions into one pot. I think it was the perfect amount for the five of us. It's kind of hard to gage how much to order and whether it will be filling enough or not when it comes to this. To complement the cheese we ordered some side dishes like small house salads and charcuterie boards, just so we weren't eating only cheese. The house pitcher of wine is cheap and delicious. Someone in our table ended up ordering a bottle of wine they didn't end up liking and spent a couple of euros on it. This was some of the best fondue I've ever had and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to have a local delicacy in Annecy. Cheese lovers will adore it.

Decent enough for a touristy area. The guy mocked my French so docking a star. The food was okay…read more Just okay.

We ended up sitting upstairs because it was busy, but we got to see people eating the wheel which is apparently only allowed upstairs. Also the giant spoon is not a spoon, but is actually used to turn off the fire so don't be confused. The fondue was good. They provide a lot of bread to dip in it. Meat pieces also great selection. We had our 6 year old daughter with us who was fairly tired. She fell asleep inside as the atmosphere is fairly quiet.

This cheese had a good funk about it and had a pretty strong alcohol-y taste, but if you're not a fan of that, it goes away if you add a little sugar to whatever you're eating. Saucisson sec artisanal - the potatoes and bread are complimentary and unlimited, but it's extra if you want any meats or veggies. The saucisson sec artisanal had a good selection of different meats and were so delicious with the cheese. One plate was a good amount for four people but we also could have finished a second. Raclette fermiere au lait cru - if you're only gonna pick one dish, this is the one I would recommend. The cheese is a lot more mild, it also comes with the potatoes and bread, and it makes for a great photo! The only downside is that you have to wait for the cheese to melt before you can scrape it onto your food, so there's a lot of waiting happening, especially if you are dining with several people! Everything is really heavy so if I came again, I would definitely order some veggies. And wear clothes that don't absorb all that funky cheese smell!
