It's kind of confusing from the outside and peering through the window, but I promise there is a whole different world up the stairs. We popped in due to one of their window displays, which featured a great shirt. We were on the hunt for this shirt and upstairs we went. We scooped up the shirt and a few other souvenirs for family, then made our way back out to the streets of Killarney. Overall, cool shop to wander around in whether you are looking for formal ladies goods or local souvenirs.

At first I was skeptical because Christie's looked a bit expensive from the outside, especially when compared to the small storefronts of the other souvenir shops in town. However, when I went upstairs to their selection of tourist goods, I was pleasantly surprised. There was a good selection of everything green and Guinness. The price was what attracted me the most because while the items themselves are oftentimes the same from store to store, the price fluctuates. Christie's had low, if not lowest, prices for the souvenir items I was looking for like pins, shirts, and boxers. Location: (5) Located right on the corner of Main and College Streets, Christie's is right at the intersection of all tourist activity; that makes it easily accessible and easy to spot. Service: (3.5) The male cashier upstairs and the female cashier downstairs were both relatively nice, though nothing special. Overall: If you are looking for souvenirs while in Killarney, definitely make a stop at Christie's.

A Heartfelt Shoutout to Máura Burke!…read more I just had the most wonderful shopping experience thanks to Máura at the store! While browsing for an Aran Crafts sweater, I was greeted by her warm and friendly smile that instantly made me feel welcome. From the moment I walked in, Máura went above and beyond to understand what I was looking for. I shared my budget and preferences, and she listened attentively before offering me a couple of stunning options. I immediately fell in love with a beautiful side zip hoodie featuring a heart pull zipper--absolute perfection! What truly stood out was the genuine care Máura showed throughout the process. There was zero pressure to buy, just pure enthusiasm for helping me find something special. It's rare to encounter such phenomenal customer service that makes you feel appreciated as a customer! Thanks to Máura, I walked away with a sweater that I absolutely adore! Thank you for making my shopping experience so memorable.

Don and Fern were more seriously into woolen shawls and blankets, so I had time to wander around a bit more. One interesting discussion I had with a nice store clerk, was why gloves in Ireland seem to be all be "one size fits all"? Irish folks and tourists don't have big hands like I do?

Pretty impressive! We only had about 30 minutes to browse Blarney Woollen Mills. In that time, Wifey found a very cool jacket to purchase at an affordable price point. In that time, she also forgot her sunglasses at the shop. We already faraway from the shop when she realized that she misplaced it. She immediately called the shop, but by that time the sunglasses were nowhere to be found. The employee who answered the phone was not very helpful or sympathetic though. Very sad and disappointing customer service!!! Despite the loss of my wife's beloved sunglasses, it was still an okay experience overall. This shop carrys all kinds of clothes, crafts, food, plus so much more. Blarney Woollen Mills is known as having the great Irish Shopping Experience after all. Absolutely check this place out after you kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle of course. Just don't forget any of your possessions while you are here because chances are great that they will be unable to help you.

I remember it having all the souvenirs you could want, including wool - at reasonable prices. We visited again after Blarney Castle but we had limited time since it closes at 6 PM and we got there at around 5:30. I managed to find a cute little sheep stuffy for my daughter, and an ornament for my sister. I remember buying wool the last time I was here. If I had more time to shop, I probably would have done more damage, so maybe it was a good thing the store was at closing time.
