The SSA had failed to obtain the proper documentation they had been directed to (they prefer to obtain it themselves), and I was not aware documents were missing. I was not getting some of my notices from the SSA, and my point of contact at SSA was unreachable and refused to answer voice messages (sixteen separate occasions) - even when I was calling at their "urgent" written instruction. In one case one of my doctors had attempted to provide documentation numerous times, following instructions provided by SSA, all without success. None of the options provided by the SSA were working. Tony straightened it all out. He saw the documentation issues and helped to track down and submit everything we needed. He dealt with missing SSA notices and kept me current on the case. I especially appreciated the rehearsals Tony took time to do with me leading up to the hearing. I have severe PTSD and anxiety, along with brain damage and cognitive difficulties, and this helped me both to be more prepared and to manage my anxiety levels better. I thought Tony handled the hearing itself extremely well, especially important given my difficulties speaking under stress. I was granted my full disability benefits, and am deeply grateful to Tony and his team for all their help on my case. I highly recommend their services.

I decided to get an attorney after learning there would be a trial with witnesses testifying. Dan Hopper took my case 2 weeks before trial for $1500. No contact until I email him a week out. He says he's going to call victim and try to get charge dismissed. No contact until I email 1 day before trial. He says he called victim, she didn't want case to continue, he told the prosecutor, she dropped the charge. Happy ending, but.....$1500 for a couple of phone calls? I called the office the next 2 days. "Dan isn't here, you have to discuss billing with him, I'll tell him you called." I sent him a polite email asking to reconsider taking $750 or $1000 for his hour of work. No response. The contract stated $1500 gets up to 6hrs of work, and was also the minimum fee. They're covered legally, but ethically? Am I expected to refer people to this place?

A True Team Effort…read more If you think you don't deserve strong legal representation, you're wrong. You do. Ringstrom DeKrey shows exactly what that looks like in practice. From the beginning, they operated as a true team. After spending years in athletics, I recognize how effective teams function. This group consistently demonstrated those traits. This was not handled by one person. Everyone on the team took the time to understand me and the details involved. They worked collaboratively, each bringing their own expertise and perspective. That collective effort was decisive. Throughout the process, I experienced the full range of emotions that come with navigating the legal system. Through it all, they were consummate professionals. They were tenacious. They never took their foot off the gas. They handled the complexity of this case with meticulous preparation, securing a favorable outcome through expertise rather than shortcuts. What stood out most is how they approached me as a person. They took the time to understand who I am and what I stand for. They listened. They respected me not just as a client, but as a human being. There were moments of doubt, which is natural in any legal battle. They succeeded because of how they operate as a team, constantly evaluating, adjusting strategy, and staying aligned. They navigated a complex and often frustrating legal system with precision and resilience. Those moments are behind me now. They gave me my life back, and because of their work, I can move forward with freedom and look ahead to a future I'm excited about. This was more than legal representation. They were genuinely committed. If you are looking for a team that is relentless, prepared, and fully engaged, I would strongly recommend Ringstrom DeKrey. -- Ronald Hehn
