We wanted mashed potatoes....just to learn that they do not sell any. It was the only KFC we visited in Scotland and England, but I guess that might be the case everywhere. Just funny, mashed is loved in the UK, so why is there none at KFC. Oh well, so we went for fries ... I mean chips :) The Chicken pieces were good, still hot and crispy and tender. Same goes for the Burger. Nicely spiced. A bit of a disappointment were the lumpy fries. Not crispy at all....it was almost mash ;) We were still happy with our choice....except for the waiting time of almost 30 minutes! In a half-empty restaurant.

On arriving home, the wrong drinks had been given to us and the chips were soggy, lank and cold so went straight into the bin as unedible. I phoned and spoke to a lady who introduced herself as the manageress and was offered a replacement order and apologies. However, am sick of the whole experience and will never be back. Would not recommend the outlet

Subway in Irvine is atrocious. It's a let down to the company as a whole, and really should be shut…read moredown. The staff do not care at all, chopping at the sandwiches as if they're amateur lumberjacks, or drowning them in sauce. All of this is totally dependant on them actually having bread though, as that seems to be an on going issue with this franchise. Seriously, a Subway that repeatedly runs out of bread. It has happened at least 4 times to me personally within the last few months. Either that or they've shut early for one poor excuse or another. In the end all I can really say is avoid this place like the plague. I know Subway is a quick and easy option, but sometimes it's just not worth it.
