She was very personable and thorough. I was there due to shortness of breath and I was checked out thoroughly. Mary Katherine had the Nurse do an EKG and blood work was done. A couple of prescriptions were called in to my Pharmacy and that was it. I highly recommend Mary Katherine and would be happy to see her again if need be.

Is it a natural part of the passage of life when you review more medical practices than night…read moreclubs? Sigh.... If you want a doctor who is not just knowledgable & caring, but also has a fabulous dry wit sense of humor, then Dr. Christopher Asuncion is your man. His "one liners" make going to the doctor a much more relaxed experience. My using Dr. A as a Primary Physician began years ago when my internist retired. A number of people at work went to a large, well established group in the Beach General corridor. So that's the practice I chose. Gradually everyone at work gravitated to Dr. A, a member of that practice at the time. When he left to found Mid-Atlantic Family Medicine, we all followed him. Dr. Asuncion isn't the type of Doctor you feel is rushing you out of the exam room. He will listen to your ailments & symptoms as long as you want to talk. And he remembers not just your medical conditions but also your family, interests & activities. Whenever I have one of my semi-regular sinus infections he will make sure that his staff works me into his always full schedule. And he will do his best to knock it out in the shortest time possible, especially if I have an important upcoming activity planned. It's quite humorous when he walks in the room & the first thing he says is "Got it again?" His decisions regarding whether you should be referred to a specialist for a newly diagnosed condition are prompt & correct. I've always been very happy with his specialist choices. An on-site lab technician eliminates the hassle of having to go to a hospital for blood work. Electronic transmission of prescriptions eliminates the need to carry a script to the pharmacy & make a return trip to pick it up, Access to the doctor is extremely easy. He is available by email, either responding by email or having his nurse or the office staff call. All are responsive & pleasant. The only down side to a one man family medicine practice is that he does need vacations & time off. His PA handles the chores in his absence. But of course I prefer Dr. A. The office is located in the Bon Secours Medical Building off South Plaza Trail, just north of Princess Anne Road. Both the building and the office convey the feelings of new, nicely decorated, clean & well lit. The spacious glass walls offer one an outside view that makes waiting in an exam room much more acceptable that four closed in walls. And the exam rooms are a nice size, rather than claustrophobic. Parking is plentiful and laid out so that it's always an extremely short walk to the entrance. Regular parking spaces are just as convenient as the handicapped slots. There is a covered drive-thru at the entrance, so one can drive an elderly or infirm patient directly to the door. Wheel chairs are available in the building lobby for their further use. Walk into the door at Mid-Atlantic Family Medicine and you are greeted pleasantly by your name. (Does this mean I go to the doctor too often?) It's a much more pleasant experience than the check-in ogre's at some medical practices who give one the feeling that you are interfering with their day. There must be a check-in ogre school, since so many have the same technique. Now I'm thinking of the one liner Dr. A would come up with if he read this review. I'm pretty certain I know exactly what it would be. So I'll just close on a serious note. Thank you for taking care of us Dr. A. You are very much appreciated.

Dr. Lambert Parker is an exceptional physician with a unique insight into human ecology…read more Over the past 10 years I have received outstanding care, tailored to my needs. Specifically, he has helped me to manage chronic illnesses related to auto-immune conditions such as severe gastric issues, alopecia areata control, and weight management to name a few. At Dr. Parker's office, integrative and personalized wellness plans are taken to a whole new level with consultative care and genetic testing! Highly recommended for anyone who desires an increased quality of life, or anyone who has felt under-served or forgotten by general practitioners.

DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS DOCTOR!!!!!…read more Chances are you are looking into going to Dr. Parker's treatment center because you are at wit's end and incredibly ill. As with most (including myself) that are unfortunately in this predicament, you probably have exhausted all financial means including yours and your loved ones to find the solution to your health issues. After seeing a slew of experts from Neurologists, Cardiologists, to Endocrinologists, I knew my last effort was to try an alternative school of thought. I went to this treatment center hoping to find an answer to why my health was spiraling out of control and declining at a rapid rate. I had severe neurological issues (ranging from loss of memory, stuttering, to horrific neuropathy pain). With an exorbitant price tag of $30,000 and 3 months of IVs (8 hours a day/3 times a week), testing, injections, supplements, and prescriptions... they diagnosed me with a Degenerative Neurological Disease, Fibromyalgia, and Peripheral Neuropathy. Shortly after leaving the center, my health declined very rapidly indicating that their "treatment" was only keeping me afloat and not getting to the root of the issue. Dr. Lambert Titus Parker and Integrative Longevity Institute of Virginia elongated my recovery because he had not done necessary testing which would have alerted them/me to the underlying issues to my severe neurological issues: MERCURY POISIONING. Bottom line: I had an acute case of mercury poisoning. Dr. Parker never checked for mercury poisoning even though he claims to specialize in the treatment of metal toxicity and chelation. (Mercury Poisoning can be discovered with a relatively simple blood test). Due to excessive IV therapy with caustic fluids and not using proper protocol, my veins are now sclerosed and destroyed. He caused undo suffering, pain, loss of work, and potential permanent damage. He charged exorbitant amounts and did not provide proper care or attention. I hardly even got to speak to Dr. Parker about my care. I was given second hand evaluations via the Medical Director (and was billed the $400 hourly rate of Dr. Parker) HE CHELATED ME WITH A POISON SOURCE IN MY MOUTH...HENCE DOING MUCH MUCH MORE DAMAGE! A physician's number one duty is to find the source of one's illness. NOT BANDAID IT with months of IVs, injections, supplements, and prescriptions. This was poor sloppy treatment and is a disgraceful representation of other integrative doctors. If you are reading this message please, please don't go to this center. There are many other doctors out there that can and want to help you.

He is a great doctor and always detailed and complete with us. He is also adapted telehealth appointments which has made things easier. Also, his nursing team is great - if you are scared of needles - don't be at his office as they are all pro's and you barely, if you even do, feel a thing during blood draws and injections! He and his office are all very LGBT friendly and he is very conscientious of LGBT Health. My husband and I appreciate this and are more than comfortable in coming to his office. I would highly recommend Dr. T and his office for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Just recently, he no longer took our insurance and we switched during open enrollment to continue to be his patients. Dr. T is a great primary care physician and I hope that you and your family would consider him for your internal/primary care

Under Dr. Robeson's care, I've always been taken care of. Let's see how this visit turned out. I was able to check in 30 minutes early since I made to drive from Norfolk. Once I was called up, they were able to weight me in (lost 9 pounds since my last visit), give a urine sample (results were good) and have my blood pressure taken (lower than my last visit). Overall, the blood results were good. Dr. Robeson, my primary care, suggested for me to start taking Mounjaro which'll help with weight loss for diabetics (me included). Of course, I'll have to incorporate exercising and changes to eating meals since it'll make myself full fast with increasing doses. So I'll have to see how the process is going this coming November for an appointment. So far, I feel fine using the product. We shall see what happens going forward. Just like that, another great appointment here. They will continue to have me as a patient. Till next time :)
