Worst place I have ever been, made me wait over a hour, when I finally stand up crying they decided to take me in just to tell me I needed to drink a liquid and wait a hour! Remind you I'm pregnant. Took the liquid instantly thrown up, the nurse comes back and tell me they got everything wrong and wasn't supposed to drink that. I am shocked by how dismissive and unhelpful the care was. I came in with daily pelvic pain, an ultrasound confirming adenomyosis, and symptoms strongly suggesting other issues. Instead of offering guidance, Grimes minimized everything, told me to basically suck it up, and pushed me toward a GI referral without addressing any of my gynecologic concerns. This entire process has been a detour delaying a correct diagnosis. I asked about alternative diagnostic options, but was met with attitude and frustration rather than clear answers. This provider showed no interest in investigating the cause of my pain and seemed annoyed that I was advocating for myself. I left with zero plan, zero clarity, and even more frustration. Patients deserve better especially women with chronic pelvic pain, who are dismissed far too often. I will be seeking a provider who actually listens and takes pelvic pain seriously cause Grimes is not it. Waited on him for over an hour just for him to spend less than 10 minutes in the room. For some strange reason, they hold your medical records, hostage, do not respond to phone calls or patient portal messages. read more

Two years after the birth of my daughter, this office still continues to display its lack of professionalism or care. At first I was grateful that this office accepted Tricare, so I readily accepted being a patient there. Luckily, my pregnancy was uncomplicated until the very end so I could overlook the messy office (dirty floor and multiple FULL urine cups in the bathroom), rude staff, and egregious wait times. I would sometimes wait up to an hour and a half for my scheduled appointment time only to be seen for five minutes. As a first time mom, I had a lot of questions. The nurse practitioner, Shadesia, who no longer is at this office was incredible - but otherwise, my questions were ignored or chalked up to be an "anxious first timer" when I was seen by anyone else. Fast forward to the delivery which ended in an unplanned C-Section and postpartum preeclampsia that landed me back in the hospital for another week, separated from my newborn. Dr. Jordan actually argued with a cardiologist in front of me in my room while the cardiologist tried to figure out what was wrong with me. She argued with me saying I insisted on a different medication dose - I didn't, I'm not a doctor. Two years later, I am STILL trying to get my records released. My multiple calls have been ignored, and the VA has reached out three times on my behalf, which has also been ignored. LADIES, RUN. Do NOT go to this "practice." read more

My experience at this clinic throughout my pregnancy was good - not perfect, but no place is. Overall, the staff were friendly and bubbly on most visits. However, the bathrooms were a bit dirty at times and some staff had smelly blood pressure equipment or were smelly themselves. Check in process was easy; you give them your name and they take your temp and you wait for your name to be called. When I missed an appt due to my child having a stomach bug, the ladies at reception called me to reschedule. The routine OB visits would take 15 mins or less but the wait time would be an hour at times. I saw the nurse practitioner more than the doctors but it was nice to see the same nurse practitioner throughout my pregnancy! She was lovely, easy to talk to, and answered my questions. The doctors were great. Dr. Grimes was our favorite. He had great humor and energy at all interactions. He was adored by my nurses and reported he was one of the best doctors to work with during my induction. He just delivered my baby and checked in on me for discharge the following day. When my nurses called to ask him questions, they always got back to me with an answer from him. We couldn't thank him enough for helping deliver my baby safely and shortly. read more

RUN. & AVOID. check in and check out are very rude . huff and puff over doing their job. i met my dr 2 times and im 36 weeks . they never answer the phone . u have no direct contact to the doctor if emergency or have questions in general . nurses are rude as well . better off giving birth at home alone uneducated. I had an appointment multiple times and was still sitting there for two hours, and I called the front desk that I was sitting next to and they looked at each other and completely ignored the call and continue talking to each other. read more

Dr. Jordan delivered my daughter a week ago. I did everything completely natural and she was able to get my attention and keep me focused. She did exactly what she needed to make sure I had a smooth and safe delivery. Great sense of humour. I will say that the wait at the office, especially for Dr. Grimes, was absurd and I saw the PA most of the time but she was also wonderful. read more

2 stars for the staff. Provider is very unwelcoming and felt the need to tell me they don't do VBACs at her practice.. I had a successful VBAC elsewhere and maybe that bothered her? She had a very unwelcoming attitude. Never in my LIFE have I had such a rude provider. The resident was wonderful, the staff were so sweet, and a beautiful office. I wanted to wait to calm down so I can fully convey how unprofessional and dismissive this practice is. I originally asked around looking for an African American OB-gym after years of feeling unheard and not seen by many medical professionals who couldn't relate to me. I received a referral from a friend for Dr Jordan. After only seeing her personally once I got tired of the same old birth control run around I decided to go on my own personal holistic journey. Fast forward to last week and I'm in the most uncontrollable pain in my life. So again with Great hope I reach out to Dr Jordan's office again seeking a referral to another doctor whom I've researched tirelessly I just need that special referral from another doctor. Instead of getting what I thought would be putting my closer to at least a pain management plan I was met with "let's try another birth control" and "I have to have my own images to work and review before I can give a referral". I didn't feel heard or seen. I was actually doubled over in pain and I was giving ibuprofen. Which is insulting considering I told them I had been taking prescribed narcotics which weren't even touching the pain and I didn't want to keep filling my body with meds and no solutions. After the front desk worker said "you should just go to the er" I realized they can't and do not want to help me so I did just that. I went to the ER. Where I was rushed to emergency surgery bc my ovary had collapsed with a large cyst and fused to the backside of my uterus. Yes, I in fact needed surgery. Not birth control that hasn't ever worked for the 20 plus years it's been suggested to me. Not an 800 mg pill that barely can stop a simple headache. I needed surgery! And I was sent home by medical professionals in the practice to sit in my pain and misery. I am insulted that you wouldn't listen to me a grown woman explaining to you what she knows isn't normal or right for any woman to go through. This place needs to be shut down and given some sort of ethical and empathy training. It seems they're just there to collect insurance payments and checks from patients. I was seeking care from people I thought I could relate to and relay my situation effectively instead I was met with the exact opposite. And after discussions with many women of color this is a common theme. I am sore and tired but I am pain free today and it's definitely not due to anything the staff at Khadijah Jordan's office did. This office has been the worst care I have ever received out of all three pregnancies. It was recommended to me and hopefully I can save someone else from here. My first two pregnancies were high risk and ended in emergency c-sections. My current pregnancy I have experienced some issues, and when I brought them to the attention of Dr. Grimes a long with my mental struggles, it literally went in one ear and out the other. There were no suggestions, no encouraging words, no type of comfort or reassurance. I got raised eyebrows and judgement and ignored phone calls. I ended up in the ER twice due to my symptoms and at least received some sort of care and support. I have since moved and would love to be monitored and seen by someone else however I cannot get this office to release my medical records. I asked for them in person when I left and was told it would take 10-14 days....okay sure, well by the 14th day I called and have called several times since and received nothing, not even a call back. They have my medical release forms, they know how far along I am, they know my symptoms and I have been flat out ignored. I called 5x last week and haven't gotten on call back. Dr, Grimes also doesn't return my calls so it's not only the front office it's the entire company. My concerns were downplayed, only for me to end up in the ER shortly after. I'm thankful they won't be doing my C-section, as I'd probably have a panic attack undergoing that surgery in their hands. If you're high risk or have mental struggles, please look elsewhere, you won't be cared for here. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Jordan since my early 20's when she was at Margie Corney's practice. So we go way back. I moved with her when she opened her own practice. I have received NOTHING but the utmost respect and care from her and her staff. The state of the art facility is located in a beautiful 3 story building off of Battlefield Blvd. In addition to having early morning hours, they also have SATURDAY appointments. I'm writing this now from the waiting room on Saturday morning. Their slogan is "A sensitive touch for women of all ages" and they live up to it. Highly recommend. read more

I have recommended this practice to many friends who have said the same. I have been going to this office for 5yrs today so my last day. Never thought anything of it that I don't get to see a Dr always a np.I had an allergic reaction to the meds that the np prescribed to me. Called all day at least 40 times(not exaggerating). Decided to just to go in to ask my questions.. The girl at the front desk informed me the phone lines were down. Why they did they not update the website idk. She was sweet not mad at her, (minus her calling me babe I'm probably older than her) she took notes on what I sd and told me to wait she would go ask the question. My question was since I had an allergic reaction is the medicine still working?.. 2 min later she informed me that she would have to add me on the schedule and charge a copayment...... A copayment for a question that if I had called in would have been free. ( which I have done before with this office) Let's not forget I was just there Saturday and paid a copayment.. I was heated and left told them to cancel all future appts. I will Miss Np Jessica because she has always been kind and is really the reason I keep coming back. I have always ignored the reviews of what people have sd negative about them. Even the time I waited over an hr to be seen and had to make up time once I got back to wrk.. Came to rite aid and the my question was answered for free. If they had a negative star they would get one. If Jessica ever moves and goes to another office I will follow her. I have been to Jordan and Associates many times, Dr Jordan delivered my son 10 years ago. So when my daughter was looking for a gynecologist I of course made her an appointment with them. My daughter turned 18 a few weeks ago but wanted me to come with her to her first ever gynecological appointment. We arrived for our 215pm appointment at 2pm and walked out at 3pm without seeing anyone. The receptionists were rude and condescending. One receptionists, Elizabeth, made a comment to my daughter about her "mommy" being there with her. I wouldn't have minded the wait so much if I was told at the beginning that they were running behind and IF the receptionists weren't so horribly rude. The office staff needs to be better trained or let go, they are not helping this practice at all. read more

November of 2018 I went here after I found out I was pregnant. At my second ultrasound I noticed there was no heartbeat and asked the tech about it. She told me everything was fine. A few days later I met with the provider who informed me I was having a miscarriage. I was given very little information on what to expect. Being that this was my first miscarriage I had no idea. They gave me no pads nor did they tell me that I would need super absorbent ones. They gave very little explanation about what was happening to me. This was a painful experience for me. It felt like they didn't care about me at all. I had follow up visits and the lady that took my blood every time was the only person that gave an actual interest in me. I will never go back there nor will I recommend anyone to read more

This place is awful! I'm surprised I remained a client there for so long. I guess I kept trying to give them opportunities to shine however with each visit it continued to be an awful experience. In the past 5 years that I have been a patient, I've had 4 of my doctors leave. Not once was I informed until I showed up for my appointment that I would be having a new doctor. Twice I've had my birth control prescription run out as they only wrote it for 10 months. When I contacted the office to get additional refills I spent 3 weeks leaving messages with not one call back and had to go without my birth control. I've also told Dr. Jordan in person that I wanted to keep my birth control the same and when I went to my pharmacy to get my prescription it was written for a different type of birth control. I've had to wait 45 minutes in the examination room before being seen by Dr. Jordan. I would not recommend this practice to anyone. Absolutely awful. read more
