No good value for your money
-
All in all the self-description on their website is not really wrong,
but it's the missing parts that make the story whole, such as in re. to
- Breakfast (included): Some of the stuff I've seen I wouldn't serve to a stray dog.
-
WiFi (included): Was not working (and probably still isn't) for almost
two weeks, management doesn't take refunds in consideration (strict
no-refund policy). Actually I was told that I could have used one of the
shops around that provide internet access thanks for that useless
advise!
- Bedrooms: My window was facing the outlet fan of the
neighbored pub, which means one could either deceide to leave the window
closed (and the stinky stuff outside), or leave the window open for
fresh air, wish is then combined with both smell and feel of a pubs
kitchen. I literally hat to wipe-off the fumes from my belongings
-
BBQ area: There is one, which I honestly didn't check out myself I
just can tell that it may fit in a couple of people, but a cosy place to
me looks different than that.
- Showers: Very(!) small, and not
really well-maintained. But: There was hot water at all times.
Interesting enough, the mirror in our room was about 1,5m away from the
hand basin, so it was basically impossible to shave inside the room (but
maybe that's not wanted by the hostel management, anyway).
The
only pro I can thing of is the location of O'Callaghan's, tube and a
food market are only about 100m away, and you can find a couple of fast
food restaurants and pubs within basically the same distance. If you're
looking for some REAL value for your money, I'd suggest you better look
around for some other place read more
