I know someone who's tried Blink in the past and recommended them. When I found a living social deal for $59 to get the full set of lashes, I couldn't resist. I called to book an appointment, and it was a bit tricky since they close early on weekdays and I work. I was able to make a Saturday appointment just in time for the holidays. The staff was very helpful in providing instructions on how to prepare your eyes the day of the appointment. They have a strict cancellation policy so make sure you book a time you know you'll attend. The process itself takes an hour, so you have to be comfortable with keeping your eyes closed the entire time. It wasn't painful or uncomfortable. Though the girl working on me was very nice, I didn't like that she couldn't get the collagen pads on my lower lashes correctly so had to tape my lashes down. It really hurt when she pulled off the tape over that very sensitive skin. It felt very sensitive the rest of the day. The lashes look amazing though! Very long, luscious, and natural. Unfortunately, I don't think i'll make this a regular beauty routine because it is crazy expensive. The full set is $150 without the living social deal, refills are $55, and they only last about 2 weeks. I wish I could, but really can't.

When I went in for my appointment, I hardly had to wait at all. The woman who did my lash extensions was really nice and clearly explained what was going on since I was a lash extension newbie. She very gentle with my eyes, and the whole thing took about an hour. I loved the results!! My eyelashes looked completely natural, just a million times better! Next, I got my brows done. They were great, and she not only explained how she was doing them but also how I can fill in my brows on my own (I guess I am kinda clueless). BTW, this place is family owned (mom at the front desk, 2 daughters doing the eyes, and the daughter's husband working on the business stuff), and I loved the fact that I was supporting a very nice local family. I wasn't able to be in town but scheduled a hair ‍and makeup appointment at The Esthetic Center. I am an old high school friend of the owner Luisabel and in high school she would always do our hair and makeup before we'd go out. She is passionate about everything esthetic-makeup and hair included. I just knew my niece would be in good hands this afternoon as she prepped for her prom debut. Prom is a huge rite of passage for many young adults and I wanted my niece to have fun and look her best. Well, mission accomplished all thanks to The Esthetic Center. And The pain was excruciating, I pleaded with her to help correct it since it was my daughter's wedding I went back for A touch-up especially since The color was wayyyyyy off for my dark skin It still looks too warm THEY LOOKED NAVY BLUE I've contacted her 3 times and She's INSISTING me for to pay her $150 additionally I sent her pictures Showing her how disfigured the shape is AND how off the color is how sparse the shading is Yet !!!!she's refusing to give me a refund so I can go elsewhere to "fix" my eyebrows - Very disappointed and will not recommend her services ever!!!!
