Though it was on file, they somehow could not figure out verification so I ended up not going in for the appointment. So, this was a little irritating especially since everything was fine last time. They evidently are sticklers for the insurance card in hand and it would have been nice to been informed of that. I have forgotten medical insurance cards in the past or had outdated cards but in all cases I have received the service with the medical office figuring out the current policy numbers, etc. The service I received the first appointment was fine and nothing negative to say about it. Just didn't appreciate the inflexibility at the desk. Didn't feel like they cared that they were turning me away, so to that I say 'see ya'.

I have been pursuing chiropractic care here for one month now and have never had an experience as…read morepositive as this one. First and foremost, this is the first chiropractor who has ever led with X-Rays before providing me with care, which was a huge green flag for me. I have struggled with pain for years and was never sure if there was something actually wrong that was identifiable, so I constantly wondered why I wasn't getting better and if it was my fault. Not to mention it's a relief to know that Dr. Milbrandt was adjusting according to the results of the X-Ray rather than beginning somewhere arbitrarily. It was validating to be able to see the issues in the X-Ray images myself, and Dr. Milbrandt walked me through them in a way that was both detailed and easy to understand, followed up with a clear description of our treatment plan (including timeline, with scheduled re-examinations to keep tabs on progress.) It feels like we are following an individualized, data-oriented course of action instead of an uncertain, ongoing journey with seemingly no quantifiable end goal. The next game changer for me is that, after each adjustment, I am able to do my strengthening and flexibility exercises in the clinic at every appointment. As someone with an incredibly busy schedule, it's helpful beyond measure that I am able to get all of this done at one time during the day instead of being required to go home and carve out even more time (that I don't have) to do the exercises at home, where I also do not have the space or equipment to do so. It allows me to be more consistent in healing than I have ever been, which I am grateful for. I am hopeful that if we keep on this track I will be able to feel and see the changes, hopefully to a point where I can only come in periodically for maintenance after I exit the recovery phase. I would recommend the Chiropractic Health Center's thorough, wrap around services to anyone in my life, and am looking forward to seeing the results of this investment in my health.

Dr. Klassen is next level and what people hope to get for a surgeon if they can fit them in. I feel…read moreblessed to have got him as a surgeon because I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything. I am very particular and like things perfect, that I probably go overboard with my "exactness". I like to know I am recovering the best I can and going by the protocol to a T. With that being said, I can question everything because I don't know if it's perfect and what I am doing is right. With Dr. Klassen, I didn't question one thing and just always said to myself, "if he said it's OK and I can do this movement, then it's 100% fine" and tossed all worries in the garbage. I was straight chillin in recovery knowing I will have the best possible outcome! To be able to put all of your trust in a surgeon and his knowledge is every thing and gives you the best peace of mind. I got a capsular shift, bicep tenodesis and had a tether removed from my left shoulder. I used to think about my shoulder every day because it felt like it got snapped on wrong, so I couldn't even wear certain clothes. I always had to adjust it which was exhausting and a daily battle. 3 days after surgery I could tell I wasn't going to need to "adjust" my shoulder anymore. I am wearing anything I want and my shoulder is not even a thought!!! It's 2 months post surgery, and my range of motion is 180 and feels sturdy and ready for action! I truly have a bionic arm... Not only was Dr. Klassen VERY professional in every single appointment, he was down to earth and could take a joke. He always made sure I was covered up, and he was thinking a step ahead of you. Example: I had undressed to show him my shoulder, he made sure I was covered and when it was time to get dressed he said, "now wait, you have your sleeves on this way so you're going to need to put the other arm in first." and stepped out so I could do it the right way without damaging my shoulder. He makes sure the details are right and also he showed me pictures and wrote what everything was in the pic to break it down for me. The success of surgery is on the patient too not just the surgeon. This surgeon gave me my best shot. I would never go with anyone else!! I'm going to bust my right shoulder just to do it all over again.....
