Luckily this pub often seems invisible to folk who aim to go out and get as hammered as they can meaning it is normally an idiot free zone. The bar staff are friendly and service time is more than satisfactory no matter how busy it is. The only thing I can't believe about this pub is that I walked past it so many times before actually giving it a go. In the evening parking is available in the pay and display opposite the bowling alley which is about 2 minutes walk around the corner from the pub.

I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic night out as it is mainly a pub where groups of friends go. the bar service is excellent and speedy and the staffare constantly going around the pub clearing empty glasses. Most ofthe people in here are 25+ so not too many youngsters.Music is not so loud that you cannot carry out a conversation. There is a pool table.
