Would have given zero star if I could. Showed up 1hour late for "free estimate" without a call or explanation, until Jesse finally got out of his running truck. read more

I've used Nye's twice now and have been very happy with both experiences. When we purchased our home there were some out-of-control fruit trees in the yard we wanted removed. They gave me a fair estimate and even pointed out that I would be better off cutting them down myself to save money and they would grind the stumps. I followed their advice and was very happy with the grinding. There was very little trace of the trees when they were completed. This year we needed a large conifer removed from the front of our house. It was in a precarious position and they were quick to respond and remove the tree for me. The 3 man crew worked quickly and cleaned up everything before leaving. Nice, professional gentlemen running the truck and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Nye's. read more

Great service! The estimator and the work crew were on time. Very professional. Team #1 , led by Cadence, with 3 other employees, went over the work beforehand to make sure they were clear on what we wanted done. They were all neat, professionally equipped, very safety conscious. The estimate was 4 hours of work; they got it all done in 3 + hours so the cost was a bit less than estimated. Excellent clean up. Will definitely use them again and also recommend to others. Thanks. read more

Nye's Tree Service is the best arborist/tree service I've ever had. They are expert, skilled professionals, and fastidious in the cleanup after all is done. This is the second time we have used them and will continue so in the future as needs arise. 5 stars. read more

I was surprised at how inexpensive Nye's was compared to others. They were professional, punctual, and did a great job including clean up afterwards. I'll definitely use them again! read more

The team from Nye's could not have provided better service. They did a great job and worked hard at being very thorough. We used another service previously and this was a much more satisfying experience. Great people and great service. read more

Troy gave me a fair and easy-to-understand estimate. The work was completed the very next day. The crew was very professional and careful with the work. Spotless clean up after the work was completed. Also, shout out to Debra for the excellent customer service. I will recommend NYE friends and family moving forward, thanks again! read more

Just had some work done by trim up some large trees starting to fall on and over powerlines and the house. Good price-we paid the quoted price the day of the estimate. Good work-did a nice job cleaning out the 'jungle' as we called it. And they didn't leave a woody mess- cleaned it all up. We''ll be calling them again for any other tree-needs in the future. read more

I called this company because a friend recommended them. They showed up with a crew of four, a truck and chipper, and proceeded to take down six large Cottonwoods and a Russian Olive that were plaguing my property. The job took less than two hours. One of the Cottonwoods was around 60' tall and positioned in a way that would have damaged property when it fell. I watched as the owner picked a safe spot in the cul-de-sac and gestured to the employee on the chainsaw who, through a series of surgical cuts, dropped the tree perfectly with no damage. There is no way I could have done that. I don't like giving a perfect score but man, these guys are pros and their price was very reasonable. read more

Cody, I've been on vacation so the review is late. Nye's is my early go to for tree pruning/removal. They are timely and completely professional. Was so glad we did the service early this year. The winds are up and I'm glad we don't have branches hitting the house. Thank you read more

I had used another local tree service for years, but they no longer have the same customer service and wouldn't return phone calls etc., so I was on the look out for a new tree service. Along came Nye's. They had about a week lead time for the estimate and another couple of weeks until they could do the work, but at this time of year you have to expect that. I'd had another estimate from another company and Nye's was by far the more reasonable. The work was done in a couple of hours including all the clean up (they even took away branches and leaves they didn't even cut!). I would recommend them highly. read more

I was very impressed with their work!! I was given a reasonable quote on Tuesday for the removal of two 60 foot cottonwood trees, stump grinding and mulch clean up. They came out first thing that Friday morning and had all the work done in two hours. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them. read more

Nye's tree professionals were absolutely amazing. They cut down 5 trees in the back yard, and hauled them all away! They were all so kind and got the job done quick! They don't just top trees, they cleared them out! They were a pleasure to work with and I would refer their service to anyone! read more

The tree next door cracks and part of it is resting on the fence and on my yard causing a safety issue for my children. So, I talked to the neighbor and she told me that Nye would be coming out in 2 weeks and to cut if I needed to. I cut what was on my side causing an issue and placed it out front so when Nye tree service came out it was out of the way and they could dispose of it. Nye tree service arrives wife speaks to them and tells her that they can not take the part that I cut because its against the law, But if I my wife tips them they could do it. Really what kind of tip? Is this how you do business? read more

Nye's Tree Removal Service was fantastic! I had six monster trees that ran alongside my house and fence line. It was a tight spot and they handled it no problem. I watched them throughout the process and they definitely know their job. These trees were 30 feet above my two story house roof line, so of course you want people that know what they are doing. Not one thing went wrong. They had professional equipment that could handle this type of job, which I liked. They were very polite, helpful, worked very diligently and cleaned everything up. Also, the price was great! I will use them again and would recommend them to my closest friends. Big thanks to the guys that worked so hard removing my trees, thank you! Tina B. read more

This was my first experience with a tree removal service. The owner, Troy Nye, and his crew did a great job of removing a Cottonwood and Russian Olive from my back yard, and cleaning up afterwards. A wide swath of lawn was flattened from the street to the work area, but I had expected that. Just thought I'd mention it in case that might be a concern for someone else. The price was very fair and I'd use this company again for my tree removal needs. read more

Nye's tree service did an excellent job removing a 25 foot tree and stump from my backyard. They gave me the best quote and sure am glad I called them. Fast, efficient crew cleaned everything up and I got a little mulch for my flower bed. read more

I called this company with a few others. They were very fast to respond. They came out did a great job. What impressed me most is they called a couple days later to ask if everything was good! Wow follow up and follow through! Great job, highly recommend read more

This was a great company to work with. The consultation was free. We had three trees removed with the stumps ground. The job was done in less than an hour. Pricing was very comparable to other tree services in our area (Davis County). I would recommend using this company for tree removal and stump grinding. read more

18 months ago I had Nye Tree Service come out and remove a spruce tree that was starting to lean towards the street. They were on time and immediately got to work. They were so concerned about protecting my property that they put down mats so the log hauler (small backhoe type of vehicle) wouldn't make ruts in the yard. I had several branches that I had removed before they came to remove the tree when I was considering trying to remove it myself and they even put those through the shredder. I am so glad I hired Nye's and didn't try to do it myself. It was done and gone in under an hour. They did such a good job that I had them bid on removing a HUGE cottonwood tree in my side yard this month. This tree was old enough that it was starting to die and the branches were brittle. We were concerned because it was leaning over the roof of our house. They had a crane (that put down wooden blocks to keep from damaging my driveway) come in and help with the removal of the tree. They had a large dump truck that they took the large logs away in. They had a chipper to take care of the small brittle pieces. They had men stopping traffic on my residential street when the large branches were coming down to make sure there was no supplemental damage accidentally. My yard is cleaner now than it was when I had the tree there. They left no traces they had been here other than a perfect tree removal and a very satisfied customer. It was all done so professionally. I can't recommend Nye's enough. I won't hesitate the next time I need help with any of my arboreal needs. read more

Excellent Company to work with. I am very glad I called Nye's. The service from the initial scheduling to the service was excellent. They were very prompt and were very helpful to get the service taken care of. Very knowledgeable in helping me make the right choice to get rid of the 10 stumps at my house. I will continue to use and refer them in the future! read more

My landlord hired Nyes to remove a very tall dead tree from next to my garage. Had the removal been delayed, our recent hurricane would have put that tree through my garage, my bedroom and most likely my head on my pillow. The Nyes' crew was fast on the removal and the cleanup; they blew away the tiny sticks, pine cones and the pine needles. They even used the blower to clean off their crew!! It was fascinating to watch the tree come down and it actually bounced when it hit the ground. It was days later before I found the arm-sized branch protruding from the ground threatening to wreck my mower...my son's friend was delighted to pull it from the ground like He-man. I would recommend their service for your tree trimming and tree removal needs. read more

Troy was incredibly helpful and honest. He told me what was needed for my trees and what was not even though he could have easily convinced me that more work was needed. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of trees and what is best for each one. I highly recommend this company. read more

Excellent service and professionalism. Troy Nye gives a fair quote every time. We've used them a few times now over the years. They are our go-to tree guys. Chris and Joe did a great job trimming up all our trees. Didn't over-prune. Even made sure to clean up the limbs that fell into our back neighbor's yard that lives on a different street. Without a doubt, would fully recommend Nye Tree Service! read more

We called three tree service companies, only one responded, Nye's Professional Tree Service. We are so grateful for that! They removed two trees, also removed three large branches and completely cleaned up. They called to ask if they could come earlier than scheduled, they were courteous, friendly and professional. To make a good experience even better, they called the next day, (AFTER they were paid) to make sure we were pleased with their service, to ask if there were any unresolved issues and to answer any questions we may have. We would definitely use them again and will recommend them to others. It's nice to know that customer service is alive and well! read more
