The Scene: Easy to find on GPS, well-signed from the road, and plenty of parking in the gravel lot. Their greenhouses are massive and overflowing with plants, and inside the main building you'll find home décor, gifts, and seasonal goodies galore. Prices lean a touch higher than some other local greenhouses, but given the location and setup, it felt fair. The Mum Festival: Perfectly organized. Food trucks up front (grab a bite first, wander later--smart!), vendor tents sprinkled throughout, live music filling the air, and kids' activities that looked like pure joy. It was a warm, sunny September Saturday--ideal fall fest weather. The Adventure: While mums and pumpkins were great for the vibe, my main goal was something a little...unexpected. The ad mentioned camel rides. Yes, CAMEL rides. At a mum fest. At 40 years old, I had never ridden a camel, and I wasn't about to miss my shot. I called ahead to confirm that the "kids activity" was indeed open to grown-ups, too. Fast forward to the fest--I see the sign: "Camel Rides $10 Per Person." Ten bucks for a once-in-a-Central-PA-lifetime adventure? SOLD. Nervous, excited, and slightly in disbelief, I climbed aboard. And it was everything I hoped it would be--totally worth the thrill (and the bragging rights). The Food: Yummy eats from food trucks and coffee from Brewboxx to keep the energy high. Perfect fuel for festival hopping. All in all: a fun, unique, and memorable event. Smucker Gardens is worth a visit on any regular day--but during Mum Fest? Add it to your fall bucket list.

No, "Good morning" or "Welcome to Stauffers. Please let me know if I can help you find anything in particular." No warm welcome or acknowledgement of any kind was presented to me - the only customer in the entire store at the time. I approached and engaged her before she would speak. I greeted her and asked if she could assist me with checking in on the app. She said, "No, not until you buy something." Woah! Disrespect is a 1000% no-no with me. I let her know that I shop at other Stauffers locations frequently and have never received that response. Unbeknownst to this individual, it was another clerk from a different Stauffers who told me to always check in via the app upon arriving as many people forget to use the check-in app after they complete their shopping. So going off of what I was previously told by another Stauffers clerk at a different location, I told this clerk that I decline to shop in a store that makes me feel unwelcome and unappreciated. She doubled down that this is their policy and I left the store. Her need to exhibit lackluster, dismissive and racist energy toward me lost Stauffers my business. Had I been white, I do not believe this woman would have treated me in such a manner. Had I been white, I would have had an enjoyable interaction with caring staff and would have completed my shopping plans. Thanks to this brief, but awful experience with the clerk at the 1075 Middletown Rd, Hummelstown, PA location, I am taking my presence, my business and my dollars elsewhere. I knew, over the summer of 2025, that The Garden Path seemed to be downsizing during their 50% off home decor sales. But extremely disappointed: I placed an online flower delivery order and later learned, upon visiting the retail store, that Garden Path doesn't exist. I still receive The Garden Path emails about different holidays, and their website still exists to place orders. The new owner of the building recommended I contact Bloomnation to see about the flower order. I contacted Bloomnation (210-405-5050), and they suggested I contact my credit card company to file a dispute for the amount spent on the flowers to request a refund.

I would not recommend this florist unless you are able to go in and get exactly what you want. unfortunately, i ordered from the website because i am from out of the area. these were for a retirement and we were hoping for a celebratory bouquet. this is sweet, but not what was depicted on the website and not what was expected. bait and switch!!! I should have read the reviews, as this florist seems to have terrible reviews. live and learn.!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FLORIST!

We moved all the old furniture out of the room except the new mattress, which we left on the floor, sitting on the new plastic it was wrapped in. Upon arrival I asked the delivery crew if they needed me to move the mattress or lean it against one of the walls of the room so it would be out of the way. He said not to bother, they'd handle it. I waited downstairs with my wife as they put our furniture together. An hour later they asked me to come up and inspect. We noticed the mattress wasn't in the room and assumed they had moved it. After inspecting we went back downstairs to wait. One of the men approached us and asked us to sign for the job because they were done. We asked about our mattress to which he replied there wasn't one to be delivered. We explained we weren't having one delivered, that it was already here. Where was our brand new mattress? They just looked at us blankly. We explained again, and suddenly a light turned on for one of the men. He suddenly began profusely apologizing. Turns out they took it to the curb in the rain and were going to throw it out. Upon reviewing our security cam footage we could see they took our brand new mattress to their truck where they leaned it against it, one side on the road for 30 min. When they brought it back inside it was covered in dirt, soaked in rain and the new fabric was roughed up. Called Bob's and got a customer service person. Hard to understand them but they were helpful. We've been told it can take up to 72 business hours for someone to return our call and review our claim. We will never do business with this store again. Beware! Avoid their delivery service.

The sort of stuff you might put in a guest room to never really get used but it looks okay.) I was looking for some cheapo furniture so I went in and was blown away at how expensive they had gotten, either over time or in the transfer from CT to here. When I asked the salesman (who was too overbearing in the way of fully commission-based sales people in stores that don't value their customers or employees) why the furniture was so expensive if it was a discount furniture store as the store is called and as they had traditionally been he told me they weren't a discount store; they were a regular full-priced furniture store. So I'm here to tell you that if you're going to pay full price for furniture, please trust me: this isn't the company to trust. you'll save money and have longer lasting furniture even from a bottom of the barrel place like IKEA, and that isn't saying much.
