The employee told us that they only accept containers they sell and kept throwing items he wouldn't take into a separate bin. When I asked whether they were required to accept all eligible deposit containers under New York State law, he told me, "No. What am I supposed to do, go to Uncle Giuseppe's? If you bought the bottle from Uncle Giuseppe's, take it there." I found his attitude extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. What should have been a positive learning experience for the children turned into a frustrating and disappointing one. The store is new and clean and the workers are friendly. This past Wednesday I popped in at 8:10 and noticed they closed at 8. I noticed a couple walking out so I figured I would try and grab something quick. The man working was very welcoming even though they were supposed to be closing. He didn't make me feel rushed and wasn't following me around the place asking if I needed help. I would stop here if I'm in the area, but if I'm buying multiple bottles I would definitely go elsewhere.
