We're nearly 7…read moremonths pregnant, so Lindsey not only captured the proposal without my fiancee suspecting - getting tons of amazing candid shots - she basically set us up with engagement photos and maternity photos all in one. We were visiting Charleston for the weekend, so Lindsey helped me plan every detail down to a location in the heart of the city at the perfect time of day. She is personable and so easy to work with. We emailed, texted and jumped on the phone to discuss logistics over the two months leading up to the proposal. During the session, she suggested different poses and locations and never once made us feel rushed. She even made a couple restaurant suggestions for us as we parted ways. Lindsey has a great eye, and we are blown away with everything. She will attempt to dispute this to save her company's name, but she had plenty of opportunity to do that prior to it even getting to this point. You might as well save your money and coordinate the wedding yourself because they will do NOTHING to assist you throughout the process, but will do everything to take your money and remind you of the non-refundable refund policy. They make the contract and can't even keep up with their own terms and obligations that they established, then when you call them out, they wash their hands with you and focus on the next person to scam and take their money. What a shame! If you want a memory you'll never forget, send her a check and she'll certainly give you one. We will remember this for years to come. Very dishonest and uncoordinated person. What a shame! I guess we will cut our loses and try to salvage what's left of our special day. In the midst of a pandemic you think people would have a sense of community and decency. The minute I saw Melissa's examples on her website, I knew she was the one I wanted to use. Due to my son's military schedule, we had to do some juggling to find a date and time that worked, but she was super accommodating. We wanted a "Charleston" backdrop, so we met at White Point gardens, took many photos there, as well as throughout downtown Charleston, and along the seawall at the battery. We had a family photo session with Kate in October and were just thrilled with our experience. It…read morewas me, my husband and our 6 month old son. This was the first time we had professional photos taken of the baby and were of course a tad apprehensive about how it all would go, especially due to the fact that he had a terrible nap day the day of the shoot (of course!). Things could not have gone smoother - Kate has 3 children herself so was just wonderful at getting him to smile and holding his attention. She was so creative with finding good spots for pictures (our shoot took place at White Point gardens and the streets surrounding them), and we found her to be warm, pleasant, and very fun to work with.
