We ventured out to Hilton Head Island from the west coast with my husband's family (our first time) and decided to gift the grandparents a family photoshoot (10 of us in total - 2 grandparents, 4 parents, 4 children between ages 3-8). Loved, loved, loved our experience with Kate Morrison! We had a family reunion on Hilton Head last month - first time all together in 2.5 years - and I wanted to get some professional family photos as a gift to my in-laws. Kate was super responsive to my messages and easy to book. Great communication the entire time leading up to our session at Honey Horn Plantation (we'd love beach photos but that is only available for sunrise and sunset, and with two babies in our group, that just wasn't an option this year!). Kate was so warm and was a natural with the 5 children present (which is an excellent trait in a photographer!). She had great ideas for shots and also welcomed our own ideas. I had Kate shoot photos of my parents and my six year old daughter. When I initially reached out she was clear about pricing and the amount of time for the shoot. She didn't pressure me to get a framed print or some insanely expensive photo package. I just wanted touched up photos and the copyright so I could have them printed on my own. We set a date and time to meet up. Mind you I don't live in the area so I did this on the honor system. I gave her 1/2 up front and the second half after the shoot. The cost was VERY reasonable and less than other photographers I got estimates from. Kate is super professional and kind. She made my parents and my daughter feel very comfortable and did a lot of shots in the 30 minutes we booked. We actually wound up not needing the entire time. A few days later I got the photos on a site to view and download. Everyone said they look amazing and commented how great a job Kate did on them. She even made me look good which is no small task!
