I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Elemental Compass! We recently moved to the…read morearea and I was looking for a good therapist in TC who specifically does Myofacial Release. I booked my first appointment online with Beverly which was super convenient and a must as I usually plan my schedule late at night. Admittedly I was skeptical as I have tried many therapists over the last decade and beyond...only to be disappointed or feeling "meh" about the massage. I'm happy to say my search is OVER! Yay for me..and possibly you too! Bev is AMAZINGLY talented at what she does and very knowledgeable. BEST massage I have literally EVER had in my life! I'm serious...and no I'm not being paid to say this..lol. I already feel so much better and see improvement with long standing back/neck pain. The location is also convenient and is neat, clean and quiet...with a cute shop in the reception area. I have not tried other therapists at Elemental compass, but I am sure they are great too with Beverly at the helm:) I have already scheduled my next 4 massages. Almost hesitate to give this review as I want to keep her..and her schedule...all to myself!

I love that they are open 7 days per week. My appointment…read morewas to help me through a sciatica flare up, I was in a lot of pain. They took care of me! I was set up with a great person who knew what I was dealing with and could apply the right pressure, and move me comfortably through stretches my body needed. I was quite sore that evening despite what would say was gentle pressure, but I knew it was the result of getting good treatment. The next day, I woke up feeling so much better. Sciatica can't be healed over night, but the muscles around the inflamed area were released and allowed my nerves and blood to move freely through the rest of the area. I realize I need massage more frequently through the year, so I will be back.

I went here on a whim due to experiencing some back pain. Upon arrival I informed the massage…read moretherapist that I only wanted to focus on my back, neck and shoulders and to avoid my legs and feet. I was very specific about this which is what I made sure to say something right away. In my mind, I only had an hour and wanted to use the time wisely. Unfortunately for me the massage therapist did not listen and completely ignored my request at all. She spent about 75% of the time on my lower back (which was tight and needed work), 20% of the time on my legs and only 5% of the time on my upper back (which is where my pain was located). To top everything off she used a hand held massage tool on me for 5-10 min. If I wanted that I would have purchased that device for myself. Needless to say I left the office feeling no better than when I went in. I do not recommend and will never be going back. I have had many massages in my life and this is one of the worst experiences I've ever had.
