There are three courts total. There's also basketball courts, baseball, soccer, community cemetery with swimming pools and indoor courts, workout area with outdoor equipment, swings and etc. you can find everything you need here! There's plenty of free parking. Many people come here both weekdays and weekends. Usually on weekends, there are soccer games and that's when parking is more difficult to find. For the fireworks spectacular, they close down the streets for visitors to safely maneuver around the park. It's like a block party. They also have shuttles coming from Ontario PD down the street. Fireworks lasts about 20 minutes! Beautiful, huge fireworks! They also have vendors come out with music and of course porter potties. Take all of your activities here! Great recreational park!

Back when days were better, if troubled times came, I'd hit the gym for some intense cardio. Time spent on cardio equipment often doubles as a time of prayer for me... I'd leave the place refreshed and a bit refocused - win-win. But as everybody knows, the gym's not been an option recently. That's where South Bon View Park comes in. Not wanting to give up on fitness entirely, I took up walking. As some consolation, and perhaps a blessing in disguise, I've realized some obvious advantages to this. Granted, the workout's not as intense, but on the other hand, a gym can't compare with time spent amidst plants and trees, or views of the sunset, or of the moon and planets at twilight in the park. I've lived within minutes of this park for over 20 years. I hate to admit that only recently have I really discovered it. A rather average park, yet priceless. With open green areas and pleasant landscaping. A nice place to exercise, picnic, barbecue, watch the sunset, or pray and meditate. May I learn in this experience, to always remember the blessing that a simple neighborhood park represents. To not so easily overlook the beauty that is right in front of me.

Nice shaded areas and benches for lunch, a fossil dig pit, a neat human sun dial, a climbing structure. Not an all day type of place, but we'll usually end our mornings here after going to the library. It's usually empty, with the occasional person here and there. Bring your shovels, buckets, and brushes to dig for fossils, make sure to wear shoes on the main parts of the park, as it is a foam floor and gets hot quickly during the Summer months.

There isn't any designated parking lot, you have to park on the street ... however the parking on the nearby street has signs that say no parking 6 am - 3 pm. This would've been a great location for the kiddos but my main gripe is that there was like a fly colony here. Every 2 seconds there was a fly buzzing around or landing on me! It was an amount that made me suspect there was a hidden carcass somewhere because it was an ungodly amount of flies. Maybe it was the particular morning we went but I'm not coming back

Parking is easy and there are onsite bathrooms those are kept pretty clean. Today I went there to celebrate a family get together. The overall environment was very relaxing and enjoyable. Facilities like swimming, water slide, water sprays and paddle bikes are also available there. If you live in California and you are looking for a wonderful park to visit, you may come to this park.
