I specifically asked about the price and whether they could do it, and she confirmed that she could and gave me a price. Then, just two days before my appointment, she rescheduled me. When I finally came to the appointment, she suddenly told me that she couldn't do the hairstyle, didn't have enough time, and that it would cost a lot more money. I reminded her that I had already sent my hair photos and the reference picture and that she had confirmed she could do it at the agreed price. Instead of taking responsibility, she spoke to me in a very aggressive and disrespectful tone. What made it even worse was that when I left, she didn't even apologize or acknowledge that she had wasted my time. If you knew you couldn't do the service, you should have told me BEFORE I came to the salon. I wasted my time because I trusted what she told me beforehand. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this salon.

The salon is clean, bright, airy, comfortable, and has a laid-back vibe. The music is always great, the staff is extremely friendly, and there are refreshments available. The restrooms are clean and in great condition. I love the plants throughout the salon and the personal touches such as the neon "Be Excellent to Each Other" sign. My hairstylist, Dina, gives me the best cut and color of my life. Every time I leave I know that my hair looks the best it can, and my color is gorgeous. My color also consistently fades out in a way that looks intentional between coloring, and remains vibrant for many weeks. I've never been happier with my hair. I've also seen other stylists for blowouts between visits and every stylist has been great. Karla cut my niece's hair and was wonderful with her. You can book online, and you can text with the receptionist if you have to change your appointment which is great. The only downside is that there's no dedicated parking, which isn't their fault and I've never had a problem. Just be careful if you go on a street sweeping day.

I also mentioned that I wanted some volume removed from my hair, but instead of blending it properly, she started cutting random chunks throughout my hair. Now, weeks later, I still have pieces sticking out that are barely about an inch long. There is no way to blend them or style them naturally. I literally have to use gel just to keep those pieces down because they stick out everywhere. I truly believe that if someone is not experienced or confident doing a certain type of haircut, they should not perform it. It is honestly unbelievable to pay this much money and leave with your hair completely ruined. Despite everything, she was kind and told me that if I wanted her to fix anything, I could come back.
