The meat was tender and juicy, fries (were commercially made not house made), eggs felt like from the country. The place was cold when we got there - they lit the fireplace and the place was perfect. Dessert; pancakes with manjar (a Chilean dulce de leche). Food was good, service was great, somewhat pricey to be in the middle of nowhere and a small town.

All the dish cover were removed at the same time to accent the beautiful presentation. He was super responsive and ahead of our requests. The food was delicious and unique in taste and presentation. It has a homey, rustic decor. It's open from lunch on all day which is good if you are looking for a late lunch early dinner. We had the fried fish and ceviche - they have a much better selection of the latter than anywhere else we've been. Good selection of fresh juices - I had the blueberry without sugar which was great. Not a place for sea views like many other places in this area - the two windows in front look out on the buildings across the narrow street - but the food is definitely worth trying.

For the main course we ordered the Chupe de jaiba, which was good but nothing to phone home about. The grilled octopus, however, was excellent. I have never been given such a large octopus tentacle. It was savory and delicate and cooked to perfection.
