They took us to a lagoon that was very far away (almost an hour). I thought they would have taken us to Lagoon Manialtepec which is the popular one and I am guessing there are more planktons in that one. We couldn't really see the plankton in the lagoon we went to No one seemed impressed by the tour. It was kinda sad. Also, the tour guide gave us almost no information on it! It was more transportation. Overall, waste of money! Our hotel recommended lalo ecotours so check them out instead! Ok update: he has offered a 50% refund and apologized for what happened but we came to the conclusion that our tour did not go as deep in the lagoon as he is supposed to to be able to see the plankton. Which is what I had assumed since I saw many tour boats going further. Roberto was helpful and solved our problem but next time I'll make sure we go with him in the tour

He is able to give the tour equally in Spanish and English, providing facts and local tips to everyone on board. Besides seeing multiple humpback whales and dozens and dozens of dolphins, Roberto was friendly and affable while showing us the best spots for swimming, snorkeling and beaching. This tour is a must do to a see (and swim!) with the local wildlife. Nothing beats an early morning ocean boat ride with a small group and local expert.

Gina was immediately responsive via email and told us to come on by to chat with her. Upon meeting Gina we both immediately knew that Gina was all she cracked up to be - knowledgeable, kind, funny, and connected. We told her what we were interested in doing and she said she would be in touch for planning. Gina was so responsive throughout the entire process, and we ended up scheduling a turtle release at Escobilla, bioluminescence plankton at manialtepec, and a catered dinner at the suite we were staying at. Escobilla and manialtepec were ABSOLUTELY unforgettable experiences and we would highly recommend if the season permits. The catered dinner we had at our suite was incredible. Amazing quality and DELICIOUS taste. You cannot go wrong with Gina's guidance. Not only is she a knowledgeable and talented coordinator, she is incredibly generous, kind, and funny! One small example: one of our friends got car sick on the ride home from Escobilla, and Gina immediately pulled the car over, bought us all waters, stayed with my friend rubbing her back until she felt better, followed up about her wellbeing via email, and offered her advice on any stomach issues we may have. This was above and beyond, and is a testament to the kind of person Gina is. To sum up: WE LOVE GINA!

We learned so much about sea turtle conservation, and actually seeing the baby sea turtles was absolutely incredible. The owner was our guide, and he told us about all the conservation efforts going on in the area and how they were involved in them. Truly a great company. Our guide, Neufrain, knew so much about the birds and you could tell the deep reverence he had for all the plant and animal species.
