Right as I entered they put numbing cream on so it would have enough time to act, and then Fiona also gave me numbing injections. She was very receptive to what I wanted for my lips (very natural, just more volume), and she delivered! She took her careful time to perfect my lips even though I was only getting half a syringe. I could tell she was an expert. I did unfortunately bruise a lot (not pictured) but it's likely due to my personal health, and not any fault of the service. Overall, I'm really happy with my results! I was honestly a little skeptical about trying any kind of Groupon deal, but I found one for HIFU here and, after reading all the great reviews, I decided why not? I had never tried HIFU before either, so I really didn't know what to expect. I'm SO glad I gave this place a chance! From the moment I walked in, I had such a wonderful experience. The woman at the front desk was incredibly bubbly, welcoming, and so easy to talk to. She immediately made me feel comfortable and I genuinely enjoyed chatting with her. Then I met Fiona, and she was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel comfortable right away, answered all of my questions, and did my HIFU treatment on my double-chin area. The treatment itself was surprisingly quick, and I'm already really happy with how the area looks. I can noticeably see a difference! While I was there, I mentioned that I normally get Restylane Kysse for my lips with my regular injector, and Fiona let me know that they carry it as well. Since this visit was a birthday gift from my mom and we had originally found the spa through a Groupon deal, I decided to have a little touch-up done while I was there. I'm really happy with how everything turned out. Since I live pretty far away, I asked if there was any chance she could squeeze me in that same day. She was so kind and managed to fit me in between her other appointments, and I barely even had to wait. I was definitely nervous because I had never trusted anyone besides my usual injector with my lips. Fiona was incredibly patient with me and made sure I felt comfortable before doing anything. They also used plenty of numbing cream, and I was SHOCKED by how painless the experience was. I genuinely could not feel the injections. Most importantly, my lips look AMAZING. I called in last minute for a touch up of my Masseters for my TMJ and Fiona was able to squeeze me in that afternoon. She was so friendly and listened to all my concerns. I had a terrible experience at NuCell. I paid for 50 units of Botox, and the treatment negatively affected my entire face. I am extremely disappointed with the results and regret trusting this place with my face. Based on my experience, I would not recommend NuCell for Botox. and my whole forehead was messed up. At every other place I have visited, they take pictures and carefully mark the injection areas before giving Botox. This lady did none of that. She injected Botox into areas where I did not need it and treated my entire forehead. I had a very bizarre experience at Nucell. (Ive done masseter botox elsewhere for context) First off, there are no pre or post care instruction and no medical questions. Nothing except a liability waiver. I was taken to the back near a dirty sink where bloody alcohol wipes were still sitting from the previous client. The nurse tells me 50 units is not enough immediately as i sit. I tell her ive done it before 15 on one side and 20 on the other (my previous nurse took her time and understood my needs and noticed one side being stronger than the other). She said ok , disappeared for a while and comes back full syringe in hand. Its very important to see your nurse unseal sterile equipment and draw from the vile in front of you. I was very weary and uncomfortable at this point but i decided to trust the establishment. She had me clench once and went straight in, 25 on the right and 25 on the left. When doing masseter botox nurses poke you at least 3 times on each side. This was an extremely uncomfortable experience and i feel its important the owner improves their practice. Wow, I'm almost on the end of week 3 after my Sculptra treatment and I'm already seeing a beautiful glow in my cheek area! You claim you explained the process and that I signed a consent form, but nowhere did I consent to you working on areas that were never agreed to, including between and around my eyebrows where there was nothing to treat. That shows poor judgment and complete disregard for client safety. You also told me directly that the damage would "go away in 3 days." That was a lie. It has been nearly 3 months, and I am still dealing with visible damage and waiting for pigmentation to return. This is not temporary redness. This is not normal healing. This is malpractice. I got a Groupon for a half syringe of lip filler at NuCell Skin MedSpa because I knew I didn't want a full syringe and most places won't charge you just for half. I had filler in my lips years ago but was wanting to do it again, due to thinning from age, and some asymmetry of my top lip. I was SO so nervous, though; I almost didn't go through with it. I was afraid it would be too noticeable, afraid of lots of bruising and swelling, afraid it just wouldn't look good. And honestly, I was thinking with such a great price maybe this med spa or injector is not very good and that's why the low price...But happy to say that Fiona was great. She used numbing cream beforehand, which helped. It still is not the most pleasant experience, but not horrible, and very quick. She listened to what I wanted in terms of shape, etc. I had brought a small ice pack with me, and held that to my lips all the way home, and after I arrived home. Probably at least an hour. I think that really helped. I had a small amount of swelling and a few small spots of bruising, but not bad, and not super noticeable with lipstick/gloss on. And I am VERY happy with the results! Plumped up JUST enough, and the asymmetry is evened out. I would definitely return to NuCell and Fiona to get my lips done again! read more
