In an era of people getting ripped off and opportunists gouging the unsuspecting consumer, it was a tremendous relief to do business with James at Nu way watch repair. My Tag Heuer Aqua racer watch never really worked well. It's Auto winding feature never worked from day one, when it was purchased at Jared's as an Anniversary gift to me 15 years ago. After speaking with a smooth talking receptionist at Jared's about what a fine timepiece it is and how they have to mail it to Switzerland to the factory to be diagnosed and repaired at a cost of $500 plus, I knew something had to give and began my Yelp search for a reputable watch repair shop. And so here we are. I found this awesome little watch shop just off of I25 on Arapahoe. As I walked into the lobby and was studying the Tenant listing, an older gentleman came in and after a brief discussion concurred that he and I were going to the same place and that he has been going here for years with excellent results. Long and short of it, James repaired my watch for a fraction of what the Fluffer-Jared people were offering and I will be gifting it to my son. I can't say enough good about the value of Nu Way watch repair! read more

Amazing! We came here to resize the band on my boyfriend's new watch and they were very fast and affordable. Both of the employees were incredibly friendly and even offered me a fresh espresso! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone! read more

James is the best in the business. I bring all my watches to him even my 6 figure watches. He's the best.

Nu way watch repair is the best watch service repair business that is legendary as a certified watch repair technician. I recommend using the service if you need a watch repaired or battery replaced. Responsible with fees for a new battery $20 bucks. James is a professional certified watch guru. He made repairs to a watch that I thought was a goner! He revived my watch! This watch has a sentimental value for me and I really appreciate having it repaired to wear once again thanks to James! Highly recommended! read more

Nu-Way Watch Repair - Nu way watch repair Location great with plenty of parking. - Watch Repair Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Nu-Way repair is located on the third floor of an office-like building so it's not too hard to find. Very friendly and super fast service. Their prices seems to be lower than the competition but a very kind man helped me with my watch at no charge (as a special tool was needed to close the case). Thank you very much for helping me out, and I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a reliable place to repair their watch or just to change a battery! read more

Super nice guy! Just needed my husband's watch resized and he did it while I was there. Was super fast and affordable!

James is a delight to work with. He has the magical touch. Thank you so much for fixing my favorite watch. Allan

The office was easy to find, James was very kind, and was able to change out three watch batteries while I waited! I had no appointment, but he was quick to make it happen. Price is fair and the watches are all ready to be worn again. read more

The owner James is wonderful! He is very helpful and knowledgeable about watch repair. His prices are reasonable and his work is outstanding. read more

Brought in a rare platinum quartz watch which needed a battery replacement. James used a metal tool to open it and left a huge gouge in the platinum in the process of opening the case back. Complete amateur move, can't believe I was charged to damage my watch for such a simple service. read more

I brought in a desk clock that had a watch insert in it. The watch insert said Movado. I asked if he could fix it and he said it needed a new movement. This was on April 18, 2024. I have called several times and he said he couldn't get a movement for it. I paid $45 for the repair and shipping it back to me. Last Thursday I called him to remind him it has been 5 months since I left it and it's now Friday September 13th. I still haven't received it and it has been too long. I just left another message and hope he will finally return it to me. read more

Went way above and beyond! I was hoping for a hard-to-find watch band (they found one and put it on for a great price). I later realized that they had buffed a scratch out of my watch face too, and I hadn't even brought that up! It's wonderful to find someone who cares about delivering better service than we expect. read more

So far, very reasonable and professional. It will take a week to clean and adjust my watch

James at Nu Way Watch repair is awesome, he was able to regulate two of my watches, and replace the crystal of another way faster than anyone else I contacted. Can't recommend this business enough! read more

This is second time I have used LWR (very good Omega service about 3 years ago). This time, I booked an appointment for a battery change knowing I would be able to get to Hatton Garden late morning, 23/5/23. I received a confirmation email on Sunday saying 'yes all good, drop in'. Great service from Carl, who said they would take 45 minutes or so, including pressure test. Just about half an hour later, I was on my way, all done! Fantastic service and very efficient!! Thank you. read more

I've known James at Nu-Way Watch Repair for well over a decade and he has worked on a countless number of watches for me. I might add that none of the work required was just changing a battery -- I have mostly mechanical watches. He is through, and very fair on pricing. I just, in the past couple of months, took a friends Rolex to be serviced; it was done in about a week! Can't speak any more highly than this and you'll find your experience to be the same, too! read more

Nu-Way Watch Repair - This is a friends Rolex watch that I took to James for a full cleaning service and polish. Just beautiful! - Watch Repair Near Me - Centennial, Colorado

Randomly found this business! I just needed a simple watch battery put in. I called the gentleman at this business, he said I could come in same day if I was available. I waited a little over 10 minutes for it. Nice guy, would recommend! read more

After buying a new watch I needed a few links taken out. Nu-Way is close to my office out south and was friendly and responsive when I called. The office is on the second floor of a building that looks more like a dorm than office space. The space is small but everythign that you need for watch repair and more. It took 5 minutes to remove the links and ensure the watch fit my hand correctly. For $10 it was a bargain. They were also nice enough to clean an old watch I still wear. It looks better than what I remember it as new (over 17 years ago!). While the watch was being cleaned I glanced over jewelry that the wife makes. I ended up purchasing a beautiful gold pearl bracelet for my fiancee. She loved it. It was very affordable and there were many other options for jewelry in the space. Nu Way also sells new watches. I definitely like supporting family owned and run businesses and this was a great way to learn and use a local business. read more

James is great, I have been coming to him for years and he is always willing to get my watch battery swapped out as I wait. I asked him about replacing the band on my Tag Heuer because it was scratched up pretty good in which he responded I wasn't ready for one yet and he could polish it for me. 5 minutes later it looks brand new! He is the best value in town! read more

I was in need of a watch repair for two of my watches; Vintage Timex Marlin and a watch from Japan that was hand made. James kept my watch's for over three months with zero communication, I would call him ever month and he said he's still trying to figure out how to fix the watches, in the end he could not fix them and still charged me saying he did some work on them, such a waist of time! Long story short if you need a BATTERY OR WATCH BAND REPLACEMENT go to James if you need REAL watch repair done go here "Jeffery B jewelry"! Awesome shop! Great customer service and watch repair. https://yelp.to/qTKq/sCsMM5nuSU read more

So I had my gold Baume Mercier watch just stop running and I took it to the shop on Colorado Blvd. I have been using for years and they quoted me $650 - I declined, and thought I would mail it back to a small shop in Illinois I use for my most valuable watches, as $650 seemed high. I found Nu-Way in Yelp and decided to give James a try. He fixed it for less than $100! He has another one of my Baume's now, has just let me know it is ready, also done for less than half the Colorado Blvd. shop quoted me. I'll be a lifelong customer, James is very good technically, is honest and fair, and his service is very fast! read more

I have a small collection of vintage Swiss watches. I dropped one recently and thought if ever it could be repaired it would cost a zillion dollars and spend the better part of the year in Switzerland. Nu-Way put it back together and fully serviced it within 2 weeks for a tenth of the cost I anticipated. I highly recommend them and plan to be a regular. They even tweaked another Swiss watch at no extra charge. Truly a pleasure doing business with them. read more

Called and the Lady said I would need to talk w/ James, the Watchmaker, concerning the missing second hand on my 121 yr old Omega pocket watch. Knowing the parts for antique Pocket Watches are very hard to find, having called all over town , I thought I would hear "we don't sell parts and only work on Modern watches" as I had heard from all the rest. James says bring it in and I'll find one that will Fit, I will need to look through my old stock and call around but we will get it right !! If you look online they want $50 and $20 shipping to have you then put it on (how I lost mine) James is charging less than 1/4 of that and putting it on !! I feel Lucky to have met him and will return, even having read the 2 neg. reviews, probably explains why others won't even try and charge a small fortune for simple things, Local Jewelers are charging $350 to send it out and have a Watchmaker then charge more for the repair on top of that fee. read more

the battery was replaced while I waited. super quick. nice fellow.

My 15 year old Rolex was stopping after a couple hours after taking it off. James worked on it trying to find the issue and finally reassembled the watch piece by piece to get it to work. He indicated it was a challenge, but in the end he was successful in getting it to work. He also repaired my wife's watch as well. He is wonderful resource and he has loyal customers in my wife and I. read more

OMG true lifesavers! I slipped on some ice yesterday and fell outside of my garage in our complex. Unfortunately, the damage wasn't just sustained to my body... I happened to be wearing my Omega Seamaster, which took a pretty hard tumble. The pin holding the band to the time piece broke off, causing my watch to come off of my wrist and slide on the ground. Luckily, I found Nu-Way Watch Repair on yelp and am SOOOOO HAPPY I did! I brought my watch into them today and within five minutes it was fixed and good as new. The guy listened to it and said it appeared to be in working order. He said if there was anything wrong internally, that there would be a good chance none of the chronometers and dials would be running smoothly. And the best part is, it only cost me $5! I called a place in Cherry Creek who quoted me around $55 to get it looked at and fixed!!!! I know where I will be taking all of my timepieces in the future! Knock on wood nothing happens, but you never know. Thanks Nu-Way Watch Repair for saving my watch and my wallet!!!!! read more

I'm a guy. Jewelry stores to me are the equivalent of insect repellent to mosquitoes. That said, I found myself with a stopped watch that needed repair. I took it to Nu-Way Watch Repair/Mauzie's Fine Jewelry, based on the yelp reviews. The office is hard to find because it's in what appears to be a converted apartment complex. I'll save you some driving around in circles; it's in Building B (south side of the complex, second floor). I walked in and immediately handed them my watch. 5 minutes and $10 later, my watch was as good as new. In and out, fast, friendly, and painless. A perfect experience all around. read more

Replaced batteries in two dead watches of mine in minutes. It was $19 to get new watch batteries. While James took my watches and fixed them right away Martha showed me some of the jewelry they carry there. I'm in my 50s and have been enamored by watches since I was a kid. But - I always despised the pretentious snobs that tend to populate watch "communities". You know the type - they look down their nose at your pedestrian Seiko or Citizen and judge your character based on the fact that your watch only cost 3 figures. I'm not rich, but I can easily afford a Rolex if I wanted one - but I don't - not my aesthetic - I prefer tool watches that are purpose-built and can be worn without care - I dislike "man jewelry". So when I came across James and Nu-Way Watch Repair, I immediately knew I had found my guy. James is a very low-key no BS guy that knows his stuff - and truly appears to love watches - ALL watches. I feel very comfortable chatting watches with him and feel that I am getting the same level of attention as the guy next to me with his 5-figure diamond encrusted heirloom that wants so desperately to be noticed. Anyway - James knows his stuff, his rates are reasonable, and makes me feel welcome. No need for me to go anywhere else. read more

This Place is not a Typical Place you would easily find as it does not have a Store Front like the most typical businesses. But I found it from online. I am glad I did. I went to get my Watch Battery replaced. The service was Quick and inexpensive. Two watch battery replaced for $18.00 in approx 10 mins. Doesnt get any better than that. And he went extra Mile to clean my Watch/Band too. I will use them again. And definitely recomend to my friends. Also, Today, I went to get the battery replaced for my another watch and make my band smaller. He did it while I waited and noticed that the watch had some fog like residue built in the glass. He voluntarily clean it up and did not even charge me for it. So Cleaning, Battery replacement and reduce the band size.. ALL for $20 bucks. Needless to say, I am very impressed with James and the Team. I HIGHLY recomend his business to everyone. read more

Nu-Way Watch Repair is my new go-to watch repair/battery replacement store. They are so friendly! They make you feel like a million bucks, but only charge you a few dollars. For example, James charged $40 to replace 4 watch batteries. In contrast to this, Matheu's Fine Watches charged me $235.70 + tax to replace batteries in 6 watches (2@ $45.95 ea. = battery, reseal and pressure testing; 4@ $35.95 = Battery). These were not Rolex's. I could have purchase a very nice watch for $235! I was talked into the pressure testing for my 2 diving watches. I was the one who got "pressure tested." Frankly, one of these "diving" watches is a fashion accessory. The only way this watch will experience 50 feet of water is if I'm the victim of a mob hit! (In that case, stop reading this review and call the police!) James gave me a choice between the pressure-testing/reseal option or without pressure testing. And he fixed them all while I waited. I didn't have to make a second trip! Additionally, they have a very nice custom jewelry store. The pieces are hand made and unique. I plan to do a lot of shopping here in the near future. They are a little hard to find in the business park. This minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for this gem of a store. I highly recommend Nu-Way Watch Repair. read more

I had an old Wittnauer company watch that I have had for decades and has a unique face that would be hard to duplicate, and whenever it rarely had some trouble I usually got an extended song and dance (while implying I should buy something expensive and newer), It was usually followed by a good sized bill after a week wait (even when it was something minor). This place replaced the battery and had me out the door in about 5 minutes for a very modest charge. When asked about where to have watches worked on, I won't hesitate to recommend this place. read more
