Great building with awesome amenities - big gym, rooftop pool and lounge and even an area to grill. Management and staff work hard every day to keep things spotless. They are strict with their rules, which I appreciate very much. Otherwise, things would not be as nice. We've rented here and have enjoyed the proximity to Las Olas and the river. It is dog-friendly. For renters/buyers the pool is shut down until late fall of this year. As a renter they communicated this for the first time 7days before they closed the pool. There are more rumors of other issues as well. Overall the building is older and the only other amenity that I use is the gym which has really old equipment that in my opinion needs a full overhaul/replacement compared to the charge in rent prices. read more

I have lived in New York City apartments as well as other up scale apartments in Hollywood and Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Nu River Landing feels like home. It has a beautiful Roof Top pool that overlooks the entire Miami - North Fort Lauderdale sky line. The residents are friendly and welcoming. It is a dog friendly building and provides access to all that you need for being on the water and city life. I don't drive on the weekends it is just easier to walk or ride my bicycle to enjoy art fairs and other activities. I feel like it is a hidden gem. read more

Terrible Condo Association Looking for a quiet place to rest during the day? Want a management staff that is accommodating? Then look further because this is NOT it. There is construction being done near the building that you can hear sometimes on weekends. Not so bad. There is construction being done constantly in the building. The last 4 days have sounded like someone is running a jackhammer into concrete above us. Pretty bad. The fobs they give you have flimsy handles and now that mine is old, the key attachment part broke and they are unwilling to replace it (though they have new editions). Silly bad. Between the intentional obsoletion, nickel & dime-ing, constantly broken elevators, lack of move-in date freedom, roof pool that leaked into the building causing frequent water damage, volume of the air conditioner and moving water, 0/10 would recommend to a friend. Valet and front desk staff = 10/10. Everything else I'd make sure you do your research on before moving in. read more

LANDLORD WARNING DO NOT RENT UNIT 1111 This review is not for Nu River Landing itself but the landlord of unit 1111. To start, the building is immaculate from top to bottom. Management is helpful, front desk is always smiling, amenities are out of this world (rooftop pool with 360 view of surrounding area and fully stacked gym), location is perfect for easy access to Las Olas. If we could have stayed, we would. We opportunistically sold our house last year and found ourselves looking quickly for a place to rent. We came across unit 1111 at NRL and inquired. We did a walk through and decided that we would like to rent it. Originally, it had been listed on the building website for $2300/mo and was a great unit. Clean, functioning (besides a few things), but not renovated. Everything was fine initially when putting together the lease agreement with the landlord, Lucy Richards. The first sign of her ways came when she tried to increase the rent to 2400 right away. She said the agent made a mistake and we agreed as we were desperate to get into a place. Once the lease was signed, it was over. On move-in she gave us incredible pushback to fix simple items that should be functioning for an incoming tenant (the two toilets in the unit that were continuously running, amongst other smaller items). Over the course of the lease, she continued to be difficult in getting anything fixed. No communication (she lives in Jamaica). Despite our troubles, we wanted to extend for another year because we loved the building, had made friends, and had gotten comfortable with the area around Las Olas. We initially contacted Lucy in February 2022 to extend. At this point my wife is 8 months pregnant with our first child. We contacted Lucy early in the case we were not able to come to an agreement on the rent increase (next door unit went from 2400 to 3600 in one year so it was unlikely) and in turn would need to search for a new place to live. The market at this time had no supply of rentals and if you found one, it would take weeks to get approval from HOA, etc. I called her multiple times on multiple numbers, emailed her, had her agent try to get in contact with her, to no avail. I did not hear back from her until I withheld March rent to get a response. She contacted me first saying that rent was late. Her excuse was that she was hospitalized with Covid, but any normal landlord would have a next of kin managing their affairs if that was the case. What if the place was flooding? Because she never responded, my wife and I panicked and had to go put a deposit on another place because at this point we are now seeing that we have to move either with my wife being 9 months pregnant or with a newborn. We ended up moving on Apr 2, 2022, our son was born Apr 7, 2022. I am now in a battle over security deposit that is almost certain to end up in small claims court. NO MATTER HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE (OR NOT), DO NOT LEASE THIS UNIT. YOU WILL BE IN FOR TROUBLE. read more

The pool is sick, though seating gets iffy on weekends. The gym and other amenities are fantastic. The parking garage sucks, especially if you're on the upper floors. Management was fairly responsive. Front desk staff are good. The neighbors are generally a bit uptight - in other words, don't plan any debaucherous pool parties without expecting a hefty fine from the HOA. The location is a bit problematic - it's a little too far to constantly walk over to Las Olas, but it's a hassle to drive such a short distance (especially if, like me, you had to navigate multiple levels in the incredibly cramped parking garage to get anywhere). That said, Smoker Park is right next door, and of course, you're on the New River. It's better to be on the other side of the bridge, but that said, there are much worse places to live. read more

Terrible management straight out of high school and front desk staff that have no idea what they're doing.

I love living here. I'm a young professional in my early 30's who travels a great deal for business. I feel safe and secure here. The security makes our building feel like Fort Knox. The front desk security staff is very friendly, the valet is always available and the residents (most of them) are always offering up a smile in the elevator. You can easily come and go as you please due to the street we're located on- US1 and 3rd Ave are very convenient. The view is unbelievable! I love our pool deck, you can see all the way to Miami and also the coast line. read more

I'm not necessarily commenting on the building itself, but the staff all seem to be amazing. I am a Realtor and I was showing multiple units in the building. The valet was welcoming and courteous. I want to especially point out the amazing job by R. Kelly at the front desk. He has such a positive attitude and assisted every resident and visitor with a smile. He went above and beyond for me, notifying tenants and listing agents when I was running early or late. In addition I ran into maintenance in the hallways as they were touching up and again they were courteous and helpful. R. I lived here a couple of years ago. I felt that the management office was anti-renter based on interactions people with them. Residents in this building are generally uptight, unfriendly 'snowbird' types just here on holiday, though there are a few young people. Building design is fairly tacky and tasteless. Think noveau rich with no class. On the plus side, best gym I've ever used, cool raquetetball court, and decent location (though you have to walk over the bridge to get Las Olas). But the pool is small and not really very impressive, though it offers a nice view on top. After a new years party, The management office decided to shut a resident's elevator fob the next morning so the "principal" in the management office could lecture them and fine them. Just an example of how this place is - I would not suggest living here if you are a young professional. read more

If your a young professional this is where you want to live especially if you have pets. Very well maintained, always clean, nice gym and a good front desk/valet staff. Security can consistently be seen patrolling and is obviously right on the river. Beautiful views all the time and close to the downtowner if you don't want to go over the bridge to las olas. I would give this building 0 stars if I could. Not safe, muggings happen right outside the building and the bridge is not safe to walk across at night. There are always malfunctions and damages to the building whether it be the elevators being broken for weeks, causing residents to wait 10 minutes for an elevator or worse having to take the stairs. Also the pool leaked causing damages to many units and fans to be in hallways for months. The sauna and steam room are always broken or "in maintenance". This building is a run down mess hiding behind the facade of attempting to be a modern building on Las Olas. Save yourself the hassle and live in Riverhouse or Las Olas Grand. Also, they remove their negative reviews so don't be fooled. This building has many more negative reviews but they are conveniently removed. read more

I have not lived here, but I visited a friend who lives here last Friday and the valet staff was the rudest and most unprofessional bunch of valet guys I have ever encountered. No one greeted me or helped me out of my car among other things. The experience I had while trying to have them park my car was so frustrating that I will be contacting the building manager to let them know that there are training opportunities with the valet staff. read more

Place is a nightmare.... first off the valet at this place is the worst... older guys who are over running around for your car (that's what valet does...run for a car) The valet is very rude and short and seem bitter about their job. The building is in a great location but don't let that fool you. The building is fairly new construction but the walls are paper thin and the entry way doors to the units are a joke. If you lean into your entry way door you can probably knock it down. You can also smell everyones cooking when you walk around in the hallways as the smells permeate through the units. The workout area and pool are great. The pool is on top of the building and was the selling point for me and my gf. We are young professionals and thought this place would be a good fit... that wasn't the case. If you ever have to deal with the management office... good luck... a bunch of lazy people who could give a crap about your needs. it almost felt like i was in a jail in the sense that management could act like a dictatorship and do what they want. when i moved out they actually "tracked" me down to confront me about using the elevator... i told them to get lost. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... PAY THE EXTRA 200 AND MOVE ACROSS THE BRIDGE. read more
