To set the scene the waiting room is in the middle of the shop and 3 barbers were working. This barbershop claims a welcoming environment, but not one word was spoken to me until my barber showed up 3-4 minutes late to my appointment (I was there roughly 8 minutes prior to my appointment). Now to get into the haircut which wasn't a bad haircut I walked away looking decent. Master barber Marco stated he didn't have enough time to shave my head and he'd need me to select on the website haircut and shave for me to get that done. As a first time customer that's not really helpful or beneficial as I'm already in the chair and now I'm going into a haircut knowing I won't be getting what I expected. After about 17 minutes of him jamming the clippers into the side of my head and neck we finished and I paid with 9 minutes to spare. I'm fairly certain he could have made my experience and exceeded my expectations, but I'm not one to judge the ability of someone with their craft. It just seems like I could have received what I wanted if they truly were interested in providing excellent customer service. I don't think I will find it in me to try the other barbers based on this first experience.

Her body language was super flirty like she was touching his neck and shoulders a LOT, petting him/stroking his head quite a bit and was laughing way too much for it to have been a normal conversation. As someone who has a tendency to get jealous, I blew it off as me just reading too much into things. Until we left and my boyfriend told me how HE felt about how she was acting. He said he felt she was being really flirty, petting his head a whole lot, scratching his scalp, petting all over his neck and shoulders and was overall making him very uncomfortable and feeling somewhat violated. Ms. Payton is very lucky I didn't have a chance to call her that day or go back up there. All in all wives, girlfriends, fiancées, partners DO NOT BRING YOUR MAN HERE. I can understand working mainly as a man's hairdresser and trying to secure a tip, but I was literally sitting right there staring at them the whole time as she continued with her insanely inappropriate behavior. HIGHLY do NOT recommend.
