Audrey Ray is the most intuitive, skilled and positive massage professional my husband and I have ever had. We have been her loyal clients for years at a previous spa and again currently. She communicates expertly about our needs (what needs attention this week) and adapts the session to our preferences. That makes the experience relaxing and sets us up physically and mentally for our jobs that require lots of computer work. She also offers stretching of tight muscles if desired. Please, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. --a long but worth it read. Unbelievably unprofessional. I had been to see Bleu in the past and everything was fine. Standard massage and while he didn't fit what I was looking for in a regular massage therapist, my experience had been otherwise positive and I recommended him to a number of others. However, my most recent experience leaves me very uncomfortable with a business like this operating with this attitude in my neighborhood. My mother, who isn't in the best position financially right now, wanted to do something nice for me for my birthday. She bought me a groupon to this place without knowing I had been here several years prior. I called and left a very nice message for Bleu by calling their posted business line explaining to him that I think I saw him years prior and I just wanted to make sure everything is all ok with setting up the appointment using this groupon. I received a very brief text message back, blaming me for bothering him on his vacation, that also says it's a no-go. I called my mother and thanked her for getting it but let her know that I can't use it and explained why etc. She went back and checked the fine print and noticed that it does not say anything about not accepting previous clients etc. She called Bleu and in her opinion he was immediately aggressive and adamant that he will not accept it. She was/is embarrassed and upset that what was supposed to be my birthday present turned into this big mess and after a lot of back and forth he finally says, "he will deal with me directly and will accept it." I go ahead and make the appointment. Within hours I receive the most disgusting unprofessional email I have ever received from anyone, let alone a business owner. He sends me an email complaining about my mother and degrading her. That of course was not going to be well tolerated, and I followed up to his email letting him know his email was ill received, but not before checking with Groupon myself. Groupon responded quickly and stated that he did not follow the guidelines and the appropriate clauses to enforce what he was speaking of were not within the Groupon. Additionally they confirmed that he is required to accept it by their terms. The Groupon customer service was excellent and swift in handling this terrible act. I also forwarded them the email that he sent me degrading my mother and Groupon was "appalled" and immediately went to work on helping to make things right. Additionally I have since received a follow up stating that they have opened an investigation into this business and its involvement with Groupon going forward. His poor business practices completely soured my birthday and left my mother feeling most discouraged and embarrassed. I will never recommend this business to anyone again, and have called those whom I have previously recommended to share this horrendous experience and email. As I said to him in my email reply, this is quite the tight knit community that is keen on supporting and taking care of one another and business' fail or succeed here purely by community support. Bleu should be ashamed to have handled this so poorly in the first place, especially given that his error will affect the other therapists whom work under the "Nu body massage" company name. It is one thing to make such a horrible mistake but to still not follow up on your mistake, and not apologize for it is incredibly discouraging. read more

Blu is an affable and skilled massage therapist, and Fairfax local. And he has very strong hands. Blu worked on my trouble spots such as shoulders and low back. He got right into the super tight, knotted spots very quickly. Wow! I have been trying to contact this business since September 6th. I finally got an appointment but it was canceled. I made another appointment and asked for directions . I never got an answer. I googled the address and went there after calling and asking for directions AGAIN and not getting an answer. No one was there. Door locked. Looked in the window. There was an empty room. I called again. Nothing. I called again and did not get through. I called Groupon and they said this was a scam and there is no such business. They plan to reimburse me and take the business off their website. However, I have wasted so much time that I am planning to report this to the Better Business Bureau. read more
