We signed up for what we were told was a simple 3-month trial program. At the end of the trial, Miss Henley rushed my husband as he was leaving class and pushed him to sign a "renewal" agreement without ever disclosing it was a legally binding 1-year contract.Due to a family relocation, a newborn baby, and sharing one vehicle, it became impossible for our child to attend. When we physically went to the facility to request a cancellation, the staff clearly ignored us being present, rudely claiming they were "too busy in class" to speak with us. When they finally addressed us, they brushed us off entirely and claimed that their third-party billing platform, ZenPlanner, was their official cancellation partner and that we had to handle it through them. All of a sudden, the story completely changed. She informed us that they are no longer with ZenPlanner, and suddenly she magically had the power to cancel it himself--but only if we paid the remaining contract balance in full! To make matters even more dishonest, they keep shifting their own rules to convenience themselves: their earlier emails explicitly stated that a relocation distance of over 20 miles qualified for cancellation, but they arbitrarily changed that requirement to 25 miles just to reject our request and trap us.Despite our child not stepping foot in the facility for nearly 6 months, they relentlessly auto-deducted tuition and forced us to pay out a massive fee for the rest of the year just to be released. They show zero empathy for local families, ignore you when you stand in front of them, and constantly change their policies to force you into a financial chokehold. Do not trust their "trial" offers or their word!

Kids don't always rise to what is required of them, what is needed to succeed, and what may be…read morenecessary to survive in their world. What I am amazed at is Master Ahn's ability to tap into every child's desire to succeed, and accomplish what is needed. He can reach the frail, beaten, and insecure, the pampered and indulged. He pulls from them what is required, what is expected of them. "What they must do." "They must reach inside and pull from within to accomplish, stand strong and defiant when facing strength. Master Ahn has perfected a curious combination of gruffness, speaking truth to every situation; be it criticism, instruction, or praise. Students learn to take criticism for what it is, a tool needed to achieve a goal, sometimes rising from failure, to achieve that goal. There is an understanding that doing what is demanded of oneself is expected. Proper form and order are essential. Yet it is not all that is required; desire, boldness, and savage determination to protect oneself are required at times. Students are taught to be kind, helpful, and encouraging to others, as well as to determine when a stronger, protective reaction is called for. Master Ahn will sustain a solid influence in the lives of my grandchildren. As a teacher for 30 years and a coach for 11 years, I highly recommend his classes.
