NSW Korean War Memorial is located near the northern entrance to Moore Park. It is a site that serves as a memorial to commemorate the Australian and Korean veterans who died during the Korean War.
While it doesn't have any personal significance, I did think the memorial design was interesting. It is a circular stone wall memorial with some sculptures and concrete blades lodged into the ground. Next to the memorial, the South Korean and Australian flags fly atop flagpoles.
If you are visiting Moore Park, it is worth checking out if you are in the area. While it will have more significance to Australians and Koreans, the concept of remembrance is universal and is relatable to all who visit this site. read more
