I had been looking for a while to have someone come and correct some landscaping issues in our sloping yard and found Nick and NS Landscapes online. While it was a very busy summer for them with a few delays in getting things scheduled, we finally found a day for our small, one-day project. His crew, Andrew & Joe, installed a new boulder edge along a slope to hold back the mulch and extended a downspout drainage pipe about 60 feet to correct some erosion problems. NS landscapes did a great job on our lawn. We hired them to remove some rock landscaping, lay some paver stones, and plant some new grass in a dead area of our lawn. The work was done in a timely manner and very professional. However, the grass seed that they planted did not seem to want to grow. We called NS landscapes several weeks later to inform them of the situation. They came out, looked at the lawn and made it right by laying sod in that area. The end result was really good! Our pond became a maintenance headache. We had Nick (owner) come out and went through some options. Or final decision was to have NS Landscapes fill in the pond and replace it with a bubbling rock water feature. The NS Landscapes crew were professional and prompt. As work continued, any questions I had were gladly answered. We had an initial problem with water splashing outside the basin, but a single phone call and they were back the next day, readjusted the rock, and fixed the problem. We couldn't be more pleased. NS Landscapes transformed our backyard into a destination. After I removed our ground level deck NS Landscape built a beautiful retaining wall with curved steps leading to the side yard. The stamped concrete patio is so much nicer than the high maintenance wood deck we previously had. They were easy to work with, punctual and very professional. I met Nick the owner and he looked over what we wanted to do, he gave us a great price so we went with his company. They showed up on time and did exactly what we talked about, I never seen anyone run a bobcat like Nick did, he did not waste anytime and had the sand removed and black dirt spread out in a timely manner since I was paying for a dump truck service then his crew seeded the area for me. Nick even did a small area on the side of the house for free of charge. I recently had the pleasure of working with Nick from NS Landscapes when he landscaped the island in my subdivision. This island was full of overgrown shrubs, thistle weeds and black eyed susan gone wild. His crew did an awesome job clearing the entire island, with exception of the two very large pine trees, planted great looking plants, installed rock and a couple of accent mulch beds around trees.
