The team here is absolutely outstanding. The cooks, Jesse and her husband Jeff, made every meal feel like it came straight from a family kitchen--comforting, delicious, and made with care. In the front office, Lisa was friendly, organized, and always ready with a smile or helpful suggestion. And the wranglers, Wendall and Ritch, were simply the best I've ever had the pleasure of riding with. Their knowledge, patience, and humor made every ride unforgettable, and Wendall's personality in particular was a highlight of the entire stay. Being tucked away in Wickenburg--the roping capital--meant that daily roping competitions were part of the experience, adding excitement and authentic cowboy culture to each day. The trail rides were scenic and peaceful, offering a perfect way to soak in the Southwest landscape. On top of everything else, the ranch doubles as a stunning venue for weddings and corporate events. With its history, charm, and warm-hearted staff, it's hard to imagine a more perfect setting. The ride was 2 hours long and our guide Ky was very friendly and informative. Our reservation also came with breakfast each day. The food was excellent. There is a pool and hot tub also. She's in a wheelchair uses a "real" certified, vested, helper service dog from an accredited ADI facility. A man met us at the door and said we could not bring a dog in there. I tried to explain the ADA rules but they didn't budge. We left the entrance. At that point I wouldn't eat there anyway, if he suddenly changed his mind!! But, thinking back, the place is really small and laid out strange. I would have probably had to take her back outside to the car or eat outside somewhere. At least she would have smelled the great aroma in there. Being denied happens too often. Motels and Chinese mostly. So rather than knuckling under this time,....I calmy called the local police. They investigated and gave me an incident number. Mentioned I could report it to ADA, & reference that number. I'm sorry the people felt that way but the rules have changed years ago. I also realize and empathize that people with purse puppies and ESA's ruin things for people with legitimate service animals. Real ones are well behaved, clean, calm and up to date on all shots, ....not a slobbering mutt or a barking idiot. I wish the business well but without my business. Zero stars for that, & overall averages to 3, I think that's being reasonable.

When we found Betty in person, she told us it was "too late" and refused to let us participate--even though we still had time to make the ride. We also tried calling multiple times beforehand with no answer. The lack of flexibility and customer service was frustrating, and our kids were very disappointed. Betty SUCKS!

We waited around two hours the rain was still active so we chose to get a refund. A refund wasn't available since it was through groupon so i disputed with my bank. The business owner then told the bank that we had completed a ride with them which was a lie. They also tell you, you HAVE to be there 15 minutes before or you won't be allowed to ride since they have to teach you how to be on the horse and sign paper work by when you get there you will be waiting for around 40 minutes for the ride that was scheduled before yours to be finished and there will be no one on sight to tell you what is happening.
