Someone answered the phone, (who isn't someone who normally works there) and told me there was nothing they can do considering the whole staff is on vacation and told me to take my daughter to the hospital because noting can be done today. this is my third time calling and my daughter still can not be seen. They have extended office hours too, and the one time I needed to call outside of office hours, I got a call back right away. Dr. Mate helped support me when I was having a difficult time breastfeeding. He encouraged me to stick with it if that's what I wanted, but also told me it was okay to supplement with formula when my daughter started losing weight. I was at a very vulnerable point as a new mom, and I appreciated his non-judgmental, comforting approach. He was sensitive to my postpartum emotions and helped relieve the pressure I was putting on myself. At every visit, he takes the time to thoroughly answer my questions and his explanations seem to be based on the most current research. I can't personally speak about the rest of the doctors in this practice, but I would definitely recommend Dr. Mate.

They would let the phone ring off the hook and were rude in person. Medical professionals were fine, not great I went to see the. On 6/17/2022 and what a world of difference! The front office and reception was GREAT! They were courteous, empathetic and all around fantastic experience. I was in a lot of pain. The doctor was amazing and was able to quickly diagnose what was wrong, gave me detailed follow up directions. She was kind, courteous, professional and I can't say enough great things! I was also one of the last patients of the day. My opinion of Riverside has gone from not great to very positive!
