The "meh" experience at any kind of service business that you have to visit on foot where you have to take ticket from that little dispenser at the door used to be one of life's great hells, but it's 2016 and everyone is picking up their game. The NRMA have a lovely, smiling concierge at the front who's basically a Gen Y Michael J Fox from that movie The Concierge. She'll say hi and help you out with whatever you need to do - no more figuring things out yourself using systems that you have no knowledge of that never made sense anyway, huzzah! I was here for an international driver's permit, and was outta there in 25mins (very reasonable, given the amount of other people waiting).
