I don't usually write reviews but had to give praise to the NowCare Volvo Pkwy team this past Sun. In at 2:17, out by 3:14. Three people were ahead of me, but I was soon checked in, intake processed and then seen by PA Kelsey, who was excellent. She gently examined by injured leg, asked targeted questions, and ordered and read the X-ray efficiently. Gave excellent discharge instructions/educations. Was very impressed. The wait time wasn't too bad this time however the woman doctor I had was not interested in my condition I told her I have a very very thick phlegm cough along with my other symptoms and she asked what I wanted to do I told her I wanted something to help with the cough to break it up and she told me to take a hot shower and gave me an antibiotic nothing for the cough and nothing for congestion. I will not be going back and not seeing her again it was a waste of my time with no results read more

The wait was almost 3 hours. The final assessment and dialogue with nurse and PA was great. The conduct by the front staff on an emergent case: a walk in patient that needed emergency care, demonstrated incompetency and lack of compassionate care. Other patients had to contact emergency service. Either this comes naturally from the staff or they need to be effectively trained. read more

Do not come to this location. They charged me the co-pay, an amount I was prepared for, but then refused to have me checked in and seen unless I paid an arbitrary amount off of the balance due from previous visits. I asked for the policy in writing that demands this amount and they said there is no policy in writing. They ended up giving me an ultimatum in order for me to be seen- pay X amount that our office staff decides is "enough," enroll in a payment plan over the phone right now, or leave. I've never been required to pay the amount they were asking for at previous urgent care visits, even at other NowCare locations. They didn't care to try to work something out with me, but were simply demanding and argumentative. read more

I had an awesome experience at the Volvo Parkway NowCare! The front desk staff member created me with a smile and gave me paperwork to complete. Once done & turning it over to her I sat in a clean waiting room. I was on sitting for 10 to 15 minutes before being called in by Hannah. She got my vitals, then 5 minutes later the Doctor came in. She introduced herself but I didn't hear her name. She was wearing a mask so I had difficulty hearing her. She examined my problem; gave me a diagnosis & explained how my problem could occur and why. Advised me to see an Ortho doctor if it developed again. She sent a prescription to my Drug store and I was on my way. My whole visit there took up only an hour. So, I inhaled my mask in a little bit too far when they told me my copay was $50.(I promise that wasn't a covid cough!) But i needed immediate treatment for my ear infection that i left untreated for way too long, and decided to "bite the bullet" by slowly releasing the grip on my credit card. One thing that I have to admit is the service to really good here. There's not alot of smiling and niceties at the front desk, but they are professional, to the point and informative. I've been a couple times and I didn't have to wait half as long as you do at PF. Once you're in the back, everyone is really nice and helpful. You're not sitting in the room wondering if they forgot about you. Maybe that's just my experiences at some other places idk. My last visit I was in and out in about 30 minutes. It was maybe just a little longer the time before. Social distancing and mask wearing is still being implemented. The facility seems airy and clean. Not overcrowded. So, will I come again? It depends. The $50 seems a bit steep for a mild treatment, and I don't think I'll be coming back for something like that. However, if you're short on time, need some top notch care right away and don't mind paying that price it's definitely one of the better urgent care clinics near by. read more

Unprofessional. Useless. Do not waste your time going there. I was told by the front desk after going there the night before, to come back into Nowcare if I was not doing better. The website says that they could do labs if needed. I was told by the provider (Allison) there were no nurses working that evening to do a blood draw so they could not do a blood test. I was told by the provider (Allison) that there was nothing they could do for me. I told them they just wasted my time and I was going to go home. I arrived on a Monday at 6:15p for my toddler son's ear infection. We were greeted by the front desk. We were out by 7p. We saw Dr. Nguyen. I originally wanted to go to CHKD UC but the wait was 54-69min so I gave this place a try. It was clean, very quiet and not busy at all. I have Tricare and paid $27 for the visit. I'm used to paying $75 a visit at Patient First so I'll definitely be back. read more

The nurses/techs were amazing here. But the doctor, some old woman, was horrendous. I've seen a male doctor here on a previous occasion, and he was great. But this old woman was really nasty and rude. She acted like she didn't want to touch my ear while examining it. I don't like touching strangers, either, but I'm not a DOCTOR!! Then she was condescending, stated that my a fib occurrence was "nothing," as if I'd wasted her time. She recommended that I get a home heart rate monitor What a bitch!! Never again!! read more

Dr Bunda Had an x ray done of my right hand because I fell and suspected I Broke it. She called me and let me know.I had indeed broken my hand and it was in a very vulnerable place. She told me to go over to now.Care and have it cast as a walking, but when I called them I was told I would have to wait and I needed to make an appointment. I will try going there tomorrow but it's disappointing to think that I have to have an appointment to have a broken bone cast. read more

I had an amazing experience here recently for pneumonia. Front desk staff was very polite and I was seen within 30 mins. The nurse and doctor were great, very knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns. They did breathing treatment & X-rays all within my appointment and they called later that day with more results. Highly recommend and there was no copay with Tricare insurance. read more

What's the point of having an urgent care if they won't see you if you have a fever? Telehealth only if you have a fever. So don't waste your time trying to go there if you're sick. After leaving nowcare and going to patient first where they will actually see patients that are sick...My son ended up having an ear infection and needed an inhaler...not covid. How would they have been able to diagnose that via Telehealth? When they signed up to be in a medical practice they signed up to be around sick people. Just like police put themselves on the line to protect others, and military etc. We are 2.5 years into covid. They have been vaccinated, boosted, and have meds. So why are they keeping up with this ridiculousness. read more

I visited the urgent care due to vomiting and sore throat. I have insurance with a co-pay and they continuously try to charge me a deductible that is double my co-pay and it is only at the Volvo location and the front office staff will stand there and argue it with you refuses to check you in until pay what they want you to pay not what you owe. Make no effort to involve management and or to review any of the materials you have from your insurance (even though the insurance sent to you for this issue) or call the insurance or in anyway try to resolve the matter. It's a classic my way of the highway scenario and when you call to complain the office manager insists that all of these things would have been completed by her staff, YA RIGHT! As far as urgent cares goes this one was top notch. There's plenty of parking and the building is well maintained. They had the waiting room socially distanced and I only waited a few minutes to be called back after filling out paperwork. My primary care isn't open on The Weeknd's so I went in here to get some help and I was presently surprised. The receptionist and nurses were very friendly and kind and I felt like they were taking good percussions for Covid. Oh and both the exam room and the waiting room were very clean. I would definitely come back here if I had any other issues. read more

Receptionist at the front is very rude. Although I have insurance and should only pay $45 for urgent care, they charge $100. The first NP K. Garner was attentive and addressed my concern. I returned a few days later bc the pain has worsened and is now in additional locations. Although I stated specifically what aggravates the area the MD stated I should manage my pain with meds and it'll continue for atleast 10-14 days but it's ok for me to wear heavy boots that increase the pressure on my leg. read more

I came in to the office this week very sick. I was only able to have a virtual appointment with my PCP, because I was running a fever last week. Granted, it was over a 2 hr wait, but, as soon as I was brought in to the exam room the nurse tested me for Covid and the flu. Amanda Ryan, FNP-BC was right behind the nurse asking me questions regarding my symptoms. She listened intently and examined me. She added another antibiotic and prednisone, by that evening I was feeling better. I couldn't hold my head up when I arrived at the office that morning, by the evening I knew I was on the right track to get better. I was diagnosed with the Flu and pneumonia, if I hadn't been seen, literally, not virtually, I feel confident that I would have been hospitalized. Amanda was straight to the point, listening to me and getting an X-Ray, all that was missing from my PCP. She even called me the next day to check on my symptoms. I am so thankful for Amanda Ryan for her help and her strong knowledge of the medical profession. We are blessed to have her seeing patients in our community!!! read more

I went here @11a.m. And I was told that someone would call me for a COVID test. They said I could wait or go home and I'd receive a call. I waited for about an hour and half, two hours outside. Decided to just go home and wait. By 5pm I called and was still having to wait. Called again quarter to seven and was put on hold by someone and to no avail the called ended without talking to anyone and so I was basically left high and dry not feeling my best with no medical attention. I will be calling in the morning to speak with someone in charge. Very bad service this time around. read more

Wait is loooooooong. And when u get seen by the nurse and doctor they are always in a hurry. No personal touch, very obvious that everything is just a routine. We've been in twice and both experience felt like a waste of time and $$$. Facility is relatively new. But cleaners need to dust better especially corners and under the tables. read more

Wife has flu symptoms so sought treatmen on Thursday. ..waited 90 minutes with no call back for attention and just left. Stupidly returned on Sunday and 70 minutes into wait still no service...not coming back....amazing poor service read more

I went in on a Saturday morning around 11am, and there's was no one else there. I was in and out in 30 mins for bronchitis and an inner ear infection. The staff was super friendly, and the place was clean! I would have waited for hours at another place. I don't know if this is normal, the parking lot has been full other times, but I'd choose here first. Plus they're affiliated with my doctor, so I can go for lab work when they're otherwise closed. read more

So..... required telephone consult with Dr prior to Covid test. They charge $180 and call it an outpatient visit lasting 30-44 minutes with no reference to Covid test, therefore I'm supposed to pay at a time when NO One should have paid anything for COVID testing. Phone records show 6 minute call. Total rip off!!! (PS I called their billing department to correct and they only changed from office visit to outpatient visit). The lady at the front desk was super unprofessional and disrespectful. First she refused to see us due to us not wearing a traditional mask (which I understand). I told her that I can use a make shift mask to cover my face and she refused that too. When we came back in after going to grab a mask, she gave us paperwork to fill out and told us to basically move from her front desk in a very demeaning manner then she proceeded to spray Lysol proximal to us and other customers. Of course I'm irritated at her at this point so I started asking her why she was acting in such a manner so she started asking me what I was saying, I told her to focus on my paperwork. This rude ass lady started yelling at me to get out because she doesn't have time for this at the moment. Her co workers came out and they started defending her actions as well which none of them bothered even ask what was the issue. It was all so unprofessional on all of them. They need to do better at that facility. Such a classless group of people. read more

Terrible place. Get your wait times under control. It shouldn't take 2 hours to be seen when there is ONE OTHER PATIENT.

It seems I am slowly marking off Urgent Care locations. The first time we came here it was for my husband. He had a UTI. Because he has Parkinson's, his symptoms are atypical. They did not give a Urine test and wanted to send him to the ER because he was PROBABLY dehyrdation. I monitor carefully his liquid intake because he does have a problem with dehydration and knew he had been drinking 128 ounces of fluids everyday. We were able to get in to see his family doctor and and it was a UTI. Fast forward about 2 months. I had generally felt bad, couldn't eat, etc. and returned. Although I knew what my symptoms indicated (UTI, I have neuropathy don't give the normal symptoms of burning, urgency, etc), I gave them the symptoms and let them go for it. They did a chest X-ray and said although nothing showed up, they suspected it was a pulled muscle and it would pass in time. A few days later, fever spiked to 103, couldn't take a deep breath, swallow, coughing, sleeping 15-18 hours a a time. Of course my doctor was a vacation. i googled and found a doctor who could see me immediately. He took blood work, and chest X-rays. Preliminarily, he said it looked like a hiatial hernia. but didn't bet on people lives, started me on medications and had me come back for blood and radiograph results. It was a significant hiatial hernia, with extremely elevated liver and and thyroid test (like 3-4 times normal). Began me on medication and ordered more blood work to look for hepatitis. To many misdiagnosis's to go back again. read more
