The studio is very cute and clean and they have props you can borrow and mats for rent. They also have various towels and mat cleaning spray for your workout. I went here with two friends and we had a great time. Beautiful grounds. Amazing library. Quiet place to meditate. Amazing gift shop with high quality products aka soaps and toothpastes etc. Bookstore. Worth coming here for a day trip or possible to stay for a longer retreat yet be prepared to do some seva aka karma yoga aka self-less service on the grounds as this is part of the vision of Aurobindo. The related Auroville just outside Pondicherry is the largest intentional community in the world and features nearly 100 nations there. The same energy at the Aurobindo ashram in Pondicherry is felt here aka high spiritual energy in the pristine grounds of garden, etc and folks living here from abroad and local making a melting pot similar to Auroville which is where many here have a direct connection to. My wife and I were introduced to Lucky Dog Paddle Company by some friends who took a lesson from…read morethem. Our friends came back with so many great things to say, we had to try it for ourselves. My wife, our 10 year old son, and I made an appointment for the three of us to take a lesson at Lodi Lake on a Saturday morning several weeks ago. We were met at the boat ramp by the crew from LDPC and immediately made to feel welcome by them. We were given instructions and safety tips before hitting the water and then fitted with gear appropriate for our beginner skill level. The LDPC crew led us on a paddle around Lodi Lake so we could get our "sea legs" before heading out onto the Mokelumne River. We were given constant, but low pressure, instruction while we were on the water and made to feel safe 100% of the time. They also took lots of pictures of our family while we were on the water and later emailed them to us at no additional cost! We found the LDPC crew to be super friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. And, we had such an awesome time on the water, we decided to invest in new boards and all the other necessary gear after going out with LDPC just one time! After researching various options on the Internet, we decided to buy our gear from LDPC. When I called LDPC to tell them this, they offered to let our family demo any and all of their boards as many times as we wanted free of charge just so we could be certain of the gear we wanted to buy!! After demo'ing several boards, we made our selections and placed our order. The price was absolutely unbeatable (seriously, there's no way we could have gotten everything we did going with any other outfitter) and to top it off, they personally delivered all our gear to our home and gave us instructions in care and maintenance, handling, and setup!! The bottom line is that The LDPC crew is super friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. They deliver top-notch service at crazy good prices. Go check them out, you'll be glad you did!!

I found this place through a Facebook advertising a 16 Week Challenge. I have not been to the gym…read morein over 3 years and finally decided to take some initiative to lose the Covid-19 weight gain. The commitment is a minimum of 3 classes per week with the end goal of a total of 48 classes. The first day of class they take your body measurements, weight, and photos. This is to show the progress after the 16 week Challenge is over. You'll need a set of gloves to get started and costs about $80/month. Each class is between 30-45 minutes long and makes you sweat ALOT. Plenty of classes available to fit your schedule. The workouts are 25 different stations setup to help you workout your entire body each session. I'm now on week 4 and really think the best part about this place is the camaraderie between gym members. Although, I don't know the names of the other members there is always a fist bump ready for you at the end. People encourage each other as we make progress with a common goal to be healthy and not just lose weight. The only negative is that Coach needs to play more BTS on the playlist besides Dynamite and Butter. On a serious note, this place is really welcoming and family oriented. Definitely has a different feel from your average gym. Worth the try and the place to go if you're gym cautious like I was.
