While it…read moreis still a very typical Czech pub, there is also a great neighborhood bar feeling for us expats. I went there randomly last Saturday, for what I thought was a few beers. Five hours later, a number a new friends made, quite a few beers consumed, and learning it was closing time, I managed to drag myself home. It is fun enough, with amazing enough staff, who speak several different languages, to make me go out of my way to hang out there. If the food is anything like Tavern, I will absolutely chow down there any time, and honestly you can't beat the beer prices. Plus they have cocktails too!

I had to drop them one star though because my friend ordered the risotto and was brought spaghetti dish instead. She clearly pointed to the menu item she wanted, so I believe the confusion was in the differences in language. She decided to give it a try and it was still good so she ate the dish rather than sending it back. The highlight of her meal was the traditional soup with an egg in it. She said she would be returning just to have it again! If you´re in the neighborhood come here for an excellent selection of traditional Czech food, modern choices, and ice cold wine and beer.
