We also got the pea hummus brioche (all the brioches looked delicious), which was the most buttery and soft texture. Lastly, my favorite was the carrot hazelnut cake with cashew cream, topped with blueberries and a gooseberry. I will be thinking about that dessert for a while - probably one of my favorite sweet bites this year. The vibes were also very cute inside and all the servers were so sweet and helpful. There's actually more seating behind the bar if you go around. The menu is extensive from breakfast foods to decadent desserts! I came here mainly for the nockerl and it takes 30 minutes to prepare. I also ordered an americano and apple strudel. Our waitress, Alexandra, was very nice and attentive. She had to bring another table for the presentation! She also made sure I had time to photography the nockerl. It did not disappoint! It was fluffy and I love the berry cream and the ice cream that came with! It was just the perfect amount of sweetness and definitely worth a try! The apple strudel was bathed in vanilla cream (you can also get it with ice cream). It was flaky and warm. I love the cream it came in! Everything was fabulous! Many people came in to order desserts from the display! Thank you for a lovely breakfast. They have beautiful salads, very generous portions, a beautiful Terrace waterside! Not to mention their incredibly healthy and delicious soups! The place seems to be family owned and operated, and the owners are very concerned with their customers satisfaction. The service was excellent! Nice wine list, good pricing, beautiful atmosphere ~ we will come here anytime we are lucky enough to be in Cesky Krumlov!

Took a break from exploring and ducked into the entryway to the Zapa Bar. Once inside the wooden…read moreand glass door, you have tables and benches on both sides. A few steps more and up, you see a beautiful bar with pub tables on each side. The entire place felt like the rock was spooned out forming a cozy cave. We happened upon the bars opening time and were greeted by a gentleman bartender. He was warm, friendly and willing to please. The drink menu was abundant with classics and house specials. We enjoyed conversation, belly warming libations and then headed back out to the cold air. Enjoy!
