They committed to me so I took him out of another childcare and then when it was too difficult for them they gave up! Not only that, one teacher over there asked me to leave my job and take care of my son at home! Why doesn't she do that herself? Extremely unethical people and they do what they feel like. No standards. FACT 1) I also found out that they have a 10:1 Teacher:Student ratio which makes it difficult for them to manage things. FACT 2) Some teachers over there are not even enough qualified is another thing I found out. FACT 3) I also found out that the owner let's children in on his whim & fancy, one child with severe eczema was not allowed in the childcare center!

We said our tearful goodbyes to 'A Growing Place' few months ago. The staff here are just wonderful. The Director & the teachers are so full of affection and warmth. He's reading, writing, counting, telling stories and has an amazing knowledge of cultures, holidays, etc (due to the many theme weeks they have). Other touches and memories are the shows that the children put on every year (the teachers teach them songs, dance and even make them costumes). They take such trouble with fun art projects, Mothers/Father's Day cards/gifts/surprises and also on various occasions like Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc which are all hand made by the teachers and the children. On top of our comfort level, our daughter loved it immediately. She warmed up to Ms. Jill and Mr. Aaron from day 1 and they are absolutely wonderful with the kids. When we had a second child (son) 5 years ago, we never had a second thought to bring him to a daycare other than Forever Young Childcare Academy. Both of our kids love Forever Young and they continue to attend in the summer. Without question, I would recommend this daycare to anybody looking!
