Price is great to get in $4 plus tax, and you get two days in.. high tide and low tide. you need to see this during both tides, what a change in scenery! This place is fairly accessible to all. There are two place wheelchairs can't get to, the light house point and the beach... The climb down the stairs to the beach is steep... I got there a few hours before high tide and got some great shots and hung around for high tide... more great pictures! There is a little restaurant. I didn't venture in so I can't tell you much except it was there. Many, including myself carried our own picnic lunches in. There is also a Zip-line and climbing/repealling area. There was a group there for the Zip-line, they seemed to be enjoying themselves greatly. The beach floor is very rocky and unstable... be prepared for this if you are going to go down! This is a must see. It is a bit in the middle of somewhere... between Fundy National and Hopewell. Worth the off course drive... Staff was great and mentioned some other places to see on my way to Hopewell Rocks. Plenty of parking... they even have space for large campers and those who are towing. Worth the day here and then some...

Cape Enrage offers views of this tidal phenomenon from its cliffs. We headed down to the view the lower area that is only accessible at certain times. There were plenty of little tide pools with snails and other small sea life. You could see the seaweed on the rocks where the water would eventually cover.

We're more flat water…read morekayakers, so being out on the bay was a new thing...but the safety briefing was helpful and Brian made sure everyone was in good shape before heading out. He's a pretty funny guy and very knowledgeable about the bay, how and why the tides work, etc. He's quite the story teller and kept us entertained. And we were luck enough to see a bald eagle flying back to its nest! I highly recommend Kayak Fundy.

There are bathrooms here as well, if you're brave enough and a little souvenir/ice cream/café across the street that I guess also doubles as a camp ground office (there is a camp ground across the street as well). We stopped to enjoy the view here on the way to Cape Split, a great stopping spot for views, leg stretching and ice cream!

I knew only that the nearby town Alma is known for its extreme tides. As mosquitos descended upon us, I fully expected to have a crappy time. This was not the case! Fundy is AWESOME. Between the incredible staff, the non-stop educational programs for all ages (we indulged in a fun sing-a-long campfire where hot chocolate was served, a moonlit guided kayak tour, numerous hikes and beach walks, etc) and the well-maintained trails, this is one of the most incredible parks I've ever visited. It has outshined every park I've been to in the US. It's tucked away in true wilderness, the kind of which I've never seen before, not even in Alaska. Miles and miles of open space. It was very green, and the air smelled sweet. And every sign was bilingual, which is exciting for a francophile like me! But it got even more exciting for me: In the national park gift shop, they had two books I illustrated!! I could not believe having traveled all that way and then seeing my own work in the gift shop, that was the coolest!! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Fundy's lush waterfalls, excitable bats, cartoonish bullfrogs, abundant wildflowers, fresh air, approachable and friendly interpreters, educational programs, wonderful trails, views and serenity. I'm glad we made the trip! Thank you to all the interpreters of Fundy, especially Pat, for making our trip extraordinary!

A number of "rest stations" to enjoy the sounds of the different species of birds flying around. Theres also a small pond that is nice to look at, in the winter, I believe people skate on it when it is frozen, not sure if there are fish in there. Quick access from the parking lot.

The ride was most enjoyable, a good length, through several beautiful settings: a small field, a forest, a pond, with the sunset over the Bay of Fundy as a backdrop. Lance and Sarah were exemplary hosts; the love they have for their animals is contagious; we loved it. P.S.: Thanks again, Lance, for my newfound passion for archery. ;)

I first met Lance a few years ago when I emailed him about getting a meat CSA for locally raised,…read moregrass fed beef. A few days later and he rolled up in his truck and I got my first ever taste of real grass fed beef. Now, Lance is delivering to 4 locations across HRM, and 90% of my meat comes from a really nice guy who lives less than an hour away. Ok, enough backstory, down to what you came for. I've eaten lamb in 4 provinces in Canada, England, and New Zealand, and Lance's lamb is far and away the best I have ever had (sorry Kiwis!). We're talking bone sucking, dripping off the chin kind of good. There's a reason why, when I asked my 2 year old daughter what her favourite meat is, she immediately said "lamb"! The pork chops, roasts, and bacon are all top notch. I never really liked pork because I found it dry and flavourless, but this is because mass-produced pigs are raised to be as lean as possible, don't have a varied diet, and never get any exercise. The pork chops you'll get from lance are rich and full of flavour; I truly believe that I hadn't really eaten pork until I had the free range variety. The sausages are also phenomenal, particularly the spinach feta - those bad boys are sucked down by my borderline vegetarian in-laws like you wouldn't believe. Is the meat slightly more expensive than what you get at Sobey's? Yes. Is it better for you? Hell yeah, Omega 3's, baby. Is it much higher quality? Ab-so-freakin-lutely. Give your money to a hard working guy who's busting his chops (har, I crack myself up) in the local economy to provide great meat.

We visited July 8th and walked the trail & the dyke path. Definitely recommend insect repellent! This is said to be the world's smallest harbour. Close by is a trail for walking made of former railway tracks. A great spot for nature lovers, those who like to relax for a picnic and so on.
