I came in and the staff took my information and had me sit and wait for my exam. It was a very short wait and I was brought back to the see the doctor. I have been wearing glasses since I was 12 years old, so I've had a lot of eye exams. Never mind how many. This one was probably the most thorough I have ever had. Dr. Holifield really did an incredible job of checking out my vision and my eyes in general. He also recommended some eye drops for me, and his staff managed to get a prescription that was normally over $800 for free. Great job! I picked out my new glasses (you can see them in the photo), and while they are not the exact frames I wanted, they'll do. It was a bit pricey, but I have vision insurance so that covered part of it. When I got home I had a notice in the mail that my employer had changed to a new vision insurance carrier. I immediately called the office to apologize and give them the new information, only to find that they had already found it and had billed the correct insurance. That is truly excellent customer service. They told me it would take up to two weeks for the new glasses, which was fine, but it turns out, they were ready in six days. I picked them up and I'm wearing them right now. And I can see, so I guess the visit was a success. And I have a new eye doctor.

If you're looking for a new optometrist, I highly recommend giving Central Park Vision a try

I was later told another brand had been ordered, only to find out that those contacts were unavailable as well. For over a month, I have been trying to obtain the prescription I paid for. I contacted the call center, left multiple messages for the store, and never received a callback. When I finally returned to the store, I was told the doctor could not release my prescription until I tried the contacts--even though I no longer want them and only want the prescription I paid for. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I'd give this place and Dr. Cornish a solid 10!…read more I wish I found this place before my travels of trying to find a place for my son to get his eyes checked. I went to two other Dr.'s. The first One I didn't like. The second was nice but still didn't answer or find a solution for my concern with my son's eye so I searched for another Dr. I called my insurance and they had given me a list that would accept my insurance and also the age group of my son. I scheduled with Dr. Brandon Cornish. He was such a pleasure meeting and actually listened to my concerns and showed him pictures of my sons eye to reference. He did a few simple eye tests (no machines or eye drops) and figured out what I was talking about with my sons eye - THAT THE OTHER 2 DR's DID NOT - I personally feel they just bypassed what my concern was for my son and completed an eye exam to charge my insurance. Moving on ... Dr. Cornish's office is clean, bright, and full of new technology! I also booked an exam for myself for contacts and it was super easy and his staff went over what the cost(s) could/would be if I wanted to proceed with getting contacts for that visit. By the way, I've spoke with the women at the front desk several times in the past week trying to figure out insurance and appointments. They were SO HELPFUL! They didn't just refer me to call my insurance provider to ask the questions. They genuinely wanted to help and you can just tell they did it with a smile each time I called. I appreciate them so much because I have not received that service anywhere else ! They are so sweet and are the backbone to Dr. Cornish. Happy staff, happy business ! Dr. Cornish really took the time and explained in detail with our exams. What things we could do as exercises at home to improve my sons eye and make it stronger. I felt a sigh of relief leaving here because I finally found a Dr that heard me out and it was a successful visit all around. I even scored a pair of new sunglasses at 20% off. Holler !
