Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Instead of the subtle brown tones I had requested my hair ended up being turned blonde.This was a drastic change that was completely different from what I asked for.However, I do want to mention that the owner Anna is a really nice lady & was out of town during my visit . The environment is so pleasant, clean and opened to day light. The workers are friendly and are open for conversations. I asked for a grey ombré which is pretty hard for dark Asian hair. I only had to bleach my hair once and the color transferred perfectly. If you ever need a hair stylist ask for Iris, she may be an amateur but she does an amazing job mixing colors. I also found Jonathan's Instagram page and literally liked all of his pictures because the work he does is amazing! I finally had the balls to msg him and get a consultation in person. This guy tells the truth and nothing but the truth! I wanted platinum hair color but he said i won't be able to get it done the first time because my dark dark hair needs to be bleached several times so we opted for ash blonde. He told me the price and that it was a package. He gave me his cell # and always contacted each other through texts. He's so awesome. He answers right away if he has a chance and understood exactly what needed to be done from what I wanted and from if it's possible without damaging my hair so much. I finally came in on Saturday morning as his first appt and he broke down the hours and details of what he is going to do to my hair. It was a long process that was well worth it because I have thick dark Asian hair. Thanks to his assistant Iris as well for helping! She's so nice and awesome. It's really hard for Asian hair to be bleached. Every step he told me exactly what was happening. He had so much patience with me and I love it! He is now my new colorist! I definitely recommend Jonathan. Tell him Francine recommended you! Btw this place gets packed and all the workers here are so friendly! They speak English well, Cantonese and Mandarin. Also while waiting for the dye to settle in they gave me a nice soft donut pillow to hold my phone up and offered coffee, green tea or water with a little chocolate cookie snack. It's the little details that really up the quality! Jina did such an amazing job with the cut color and styling--very meticulous and professional--and the girl who washed my hair (I think her name was Iris) was great too. She really got in there with the scalp massage and they give a little eye shield so water doesn't splash into your eyes when the hair is being washed. Great spot!

Besides the perm making me look 15 years older, the length is so short, way shorter than what we discussed before he chopped it off. And the worst thing is, the cut he gave me is simply awful! He gave me more volume around the middle part of my hair and thinned out all the ends, it literally looks like a mullet. Not the style that I'm going for. I've tried to make it straight with a straightening iron and it still looks like €hit. I've had bad haircuts in the past, but this place is to a whole new level, it's so horrible that I'm actually writing another updated review. To say that I'm upset is an understatement. The hair even looks like crap in a ponytail. And yes sure I'll grow it back, but it sure will take at least another 6 months to do so.
