Worse experience I've ever had! After paying my annual fee, I was prescribed an exorbitant amount…read moreof compounded hormones, including vaginal suppositories, estrogen vaginal cream, E and P capsules, T cream, many of which called for application 3-4 times a day. While my E and P were tested after the first three months, she never tested my T levels. After five months, my T level was over 1500! ( for perspective, my 33 yo son is on T replacement....his level is around 850)! She maintained that it was impossible for my levels to be that high; it had to be a lab error. I stopped usually the T cream and went back the following week to retest the T. Even a week after, my levels from two different NATIONAL labs were over 700! While my side effects were severe and included cystic acne, aggression, mood swings, unusual levels of sexual desire, insomnia, and fatigue, such high levels for a women can be even more dangerous! Nit once did she apologize or admit that I was overdosed, continuing to maintain that that her staff, the lab, and even I was responsible for the test results! I left the practice after this horrible experience, and she did t even offer to refund the exorbitant annual fee that I paid! i do not recommend Dr Mel to anyone!
